Exceed And Excel filly OVERREACH a dominant in the G2 Moet & Chandon Stakes
Jumping straight to the lead, the talented filly OVERREACH by Exceed And Excel / Bahia gave her rivals a galloping lesson, winning the Gr2 Moet & Chandon Stakes (race name Reisling Slipper Trial) over 1200m at Rosehill on 23 March, tightening her claim on the Gr1 Golden Slipper where she is now a dominant favourite.

A winner of the Listed Widden Stakes at her last start five weeks ago, the filly defeated the previously unbeaten Villa Verde by four-and-a-quarter lengths, with Spurrendous back in third.
Overreach is out of the unbeaten Snippets mare Bahia, a half-sister to Dynamic Syndications own Exceed And Excel Gr1 Blue Diamond Winner, REWARD FOR EFFORT as well as the four-time Listed winner Consular.
Exceed And Excel world wide is the sire of more Stakes Winners in 2013 than another other sire, with currently 10 individual Stakes Winners clearly infront of More Than Ready and Jet Master with 7 a piece.
Exceed And Excel is represented around the globe by 66 Stakes Winners and a further 54 Stakes Performers including Gr1 winners Reward For Effort, Excelebration, Margot Did and Helmet.

Dynamic Syndications purchased a stunning colt by Exceed And Excel at the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale in Melbourne, from Rheinwood Pastoral draft. The colt is from a high quality USA pedigree. The mare is named YOU SMARTY PANTS (by Smarty Jones). She is a daughter of quality Gr3 winning and multiple Gr1 placed TIL FORBID. You Smarty Pants is a half sister SW SCOOP (dam of SW COOLWIND) She is also a half sister to SP KINGS LYNN (Dam of SW SARA LOUISE and JUST LOUISE). She is also a half sister to the dams of SP NACHO SAINT, HERR MOZART and ANGELICA MIA.
Interestingly the pedigree rated extremely well.
Firstly the cross has produced 17 Stakes Winners to date. With the quality of the Stakes Winners and the compatibility of the genetics it has achieved a rating score of A+ 774% which rates the cross as “Superb”.
Also the pedigree was run through our Best Of Sale formula where it recorded a score of 2.0. That rates the pedigree the fourth highest in the 775 catalogued lots. Of the 3 rated higher, we inspected all 3 and none of those passed conformation inspection. Therefore that rates this colt the BEST IN SALE on genetics and conformation, by the best Sire in the World on the stats as declared above.

Already the value of our filly has skyrocketed with the deeds of OVERREACH having won a Gr2 and a LR. She is worth double what we paid for her as a yearling. Imagine the value of her if OVERREACH grabs the Slipper ?
