By Street Boss, he is a 3yo Brown / Black Gelding named GUMNUTS from KOALA BEAR.
GUMNUTS at Godolphins Flemington Stables 8 January before heading to the sale
Offered as part of the
Godolphin Dispersal Sale, GUMNUTS is a
lightly raced 3yo who has raced on
5 occasions and
has his hoof on the till.
He promises to deliver a lot of fun for his new owners and race replays and raceform show he has the talent to be placed to advantage and win through his grades.
Importantly he still has his easiest race being a maiden still in front of him.
At his first preparation he raced on 3 occasions, his first couple were more about learning his craft, but at his third run on the
9th July, he raced on speed just behind the leaders and was strong to the line when third, but just couldn’t quite reel in the leader who went on to win.

Sent for a spell, He resumed training in the
28th August and he resumed at the races for the first time this preparation on the
22nd December on a Heavy Track at Geelong over 1112m where underdone, he finished 6th of 10 beaten 4.3 lengths.
Second-up, this being his fifth race start, just
12 days ago on the
6th January at Wangaratta he was pipped on the post for the runners-up cheque when
3rd of 9 finishing 2.9 lengths from the winner.

He missed the start, but we saw his potential after being last early, he rattled down the middle of the straight and was just pipped on the line for second spot when
finishing an eye catching third.
This was at just his second race start for the campaign and two days later he was on the truck to the Gold Coast for the Godolphin dispersal sale.
Team Dynamic had our veterinarian Dr Tim Roberts go over him from head to tail on Sunday and Tim passed him as “clean of wind and limb.”
He was one of three horses we were interested in from the Godolphin offerings however he was the third of the three to go through the salering, so we decided to put all our ammunition on getting the horse we wanted most, and we were successful with the strategy
buying GUMNUTS for $50,000 + GST, a price we considered
a salering gift based upon what others had sold for throughout the 2020 year and what the other two horses we were interested in sold for a few lots earlier.

Considered a genuine mid-week style of a horse by our ratings guru, and still having the Maiden win in him and having
well over $20,000 in training fees invested in him at present, and he started only 12 days earlier and is still getting fit, he was an awesome acquisition.
Dynamic Syndications will be syndicating GUMNUTS among our loyal Dynamic Syndications existing ownership team to be raced in NSW.
He is already on the back of the horse float on his way to his new home as he heads to the stables of
our provincial trainer JASON DEAMER at Newcastle where we are having a great run of success together.
