A REVIEW:

EVERAGE won the ATC Keith Mackay Hcp LR 1200m and ran 2nd in the ATC Kindergarten S Gr3 1100m to Overreach (Golden Slipper Winner), and 2nd in the ATC Widden Stakes, LR 1100m to Safeguard (dual Gr3 Winner).

She also won the $50,000 Inglis Bonus attached to the Canberra RC Lightning Ridge 2YO Plate 1000m and a 2yo Handicap at Rosehill over 1200m.

Bred to fly early, Everage was a duck winning her three races on Heavy 9 and Heavy 10 tracks is an added bonus in the Autumn when the big 2yo races are on offer.

She ran 2nd in the Widden and the Kindergarten both on Soft 5 tracks.

As a 2yo EVERAGE was top class starting in nine (9) 2yo races for 3 wins, 5 seconds and 1 fourth.

3 of these 9 starts were at Black-Type grade and her fourth was her final run as a 2yo where she pulled up lame and was given 6 months off in the paddock before returning to training.

As a 3yo she returned to racing but the injury plagued her.

She had a further 8 starts – 4 in Black-Type races but failed to recapture her 2yo form and was unplaced and subsequently retired.

BREEDING:

The introduction of EXCEED AND EXCEL as the World Champion Sire of 2yo’s to Everage is both genetically and commercially appealing.
