Dynamic Syndications 4yo mare READY TO PROPHET (Smart Missile x Ready To Live (USA)) raced by an All Ladies Ownership Team is set to resume on Saturday on the Kensington circuit in Race 7 the Quincy Seltzer Hcp, a Benchmark 88, 1250m event.
She is Number 1, with
Brenton Avdulla aboard, drawn in barrier 8 and as a mare will carry the steadier of 60.5kgs against the boys.

With limited opportunities in the racing calendar, we were forced to run here where the conditions of the event are unsuitable but it’s a necessary steppingstone to better races over the coming weeks.
READY TO PROPHET winning the GAI WATERHOUSE CLASSIC
READY TO PROPHET is a high-class racehorse whom from 13 starts has won 3 races, 1 second, 2 thirds and earned $277,320 in prizemoney.
Our mare is already a
dual Stakes Winner, having won the Scone Race Club
Denise’s Joy Stakes LR 1100m and the Ipswich Turf Club
Gai Waterhouse LR Classic 1350m. She has also earned black type when
3rd in the Gr3 ATC Nivison Stakes 1200m, 3rd in the LR BTC Daybreak Lover Stakes 1200m and 4th in the Gr2 Silver Shadow Stakes 1200m.
READY TO PROPHET was also nominated for the
Gr1 TAB Classic in Adelaide this weekend but travel logistics and our forward race plans made it too difficult to get her to Adelaide and return.
READY TO PROPHET is a Benchmark 93 horse in a Benchmark 88 representing she will carry 2.5 kgs over the allotted minimum top-weight. So as a mare against the males, being asked to lump 60.5kgs is never ideal especially first-up. Add-in the distance of 1250m first-up is a bit further than we wanted since our mighty mare has won twice at 1100m and once at 1350m.
Also,
READY TO PROPHET is not a noted first-up racehorse having won just once in 4 attempts with no placings.
We must resume somewhere, and this race allows us a vital platform with the view of looking towards the transferred
Scone Cup Carnival meeting to Rosehill in 2 weeks’ time or alternatively heading straight up to
Queensland where there are several options during their revised programme.
As can be seen in the photo,
Gai and Adrian and their loyal staff have our mare looking superb.

Whilst
READY TO PROPHET has been deliberately left with room to tighten up, this race will be an ideal springboard to bring her to a peak.
On class alone she is certainly forward enough and more than capable of claiming a victory here, despite the hurdles outlined. Also, the way the stable is firing at present, nothing is beyond their stable skillset of producing yet another winner.
READY TO PROPHET has strengthened and matured significantly during her spell and her
group of lady owners are hopeful their magical mare can continue with her excellent race record over the coming weeks.
The race appears to map well for her. Despite the field limited to 10 runners, there are 4 genuine on pace horses engaged with Hilo and Oakfield Twilight expected lead with Bolero King and
Ready To Prophet tracking up behind the early speed however if opportunity presents at a sensible tempo
READY TO PROPHET could well lead in typical
Waterhouse bone and muscle style.

It promises to be a fascinating resumption contest and we
wish the Ladies well as they watch their loved mare compete.
