April has been an outstanding month for Australasia's
"KING OF KINGS" in the stallion ranks
REDOUTE'S CHOICE with his most recent success being his first Stakes Winner from his first European crop when
"Gold Luck" won in France.
This was the cherry on the top for the
greatest son of Danehill who also dominated the Inglis Easter sale-ring along with his sire sons
Snitzel and Not A Single Doubt. All 3 stallions standing at
Arrowfield Stud.
The father-and-sons dynasty claimed all of the Easter Sale's major stallion honours:
Top Price ($2.5 million Redoute's Choice-Secluded colt),
Highest Aggregate (Snitzel, 38 lots sold for a total $20,425,000) and
Highest Average (Not A Single Doubt, 3 lots sold for an average price of $750,000).
The trio sired eight of the Sale's
17 $1 million-plus yearlings, including four of the top five lots, an achievement explained and supported by their collective
47 winners of 57 Group & Listed Races in five countries since 1 August 2016.
REDOUTE'S CHOICE
At the Easter Yearling Sale Redoute's Choice had 28 Lots Gross $13,900,000 for an Average $496,429 with a Top Price $2,500,000 and Median $335,000.
In a rare occurrence, the super stallion who had service fee reductions in the past few years and was down to $110,000 in 2016 has had a jump in his fee up in 2017 to
$137,500.
Dynamic Syndications currently have available the rarest of gems when it comes to the Super Sire REDOUTE'S CHOICE.
In 2017, we went to NZB Premier Yearling Sale with a mission to buy the best colts we could find by Champion Australian based Sires.
We did this to ensure we got the best bloodstock we could raised and prepared on lush NZ pastures. Also, these yearlings would be BOBS Eligible and have access to the rich bonus prizemoney on offer for BOBS horses.
We achieved our aims when purchasing 2 terrific colts by
REDOUTE'S CHOICE & FASTNET ROCK.
Our Colt
Our REDOUTE'S CHOICE Colt was offered by the man regarded as the "BEST" thoroughbred breeder ever in the legendary Sir Patrick Hogan of the hallowed ground known as CAMBRIDGE STUD.
Sir Patrick Hogan
The Colt is a direct descendant of Sir Patrick's immortal Champion Broodmare EIGHT CARAT.
Our Colt is the stunning first foal of Sir Patrick's owned and raced mare LOVETESSA (by O'Reilly).
Lovetessa
Carrying the world renowned Sir Patrick Hogan colours of Emerald Green with Pale Green Spots, the lightly raced LOVETESSA won 2 races and was 3rd in the Eulogy Stakes Gr3.
She is a daughter of Love Diamonds - a 2yo Winning daughter of Danehill.
LOVETESSA is a grand-daughter of Champion 2yo & 3yo TRISTALOVE.
Tristalove
LOVETESSA'S 3rd Dam is Gr1 Winner DIAMOND LOVER
and her
Eight Carat
4th Dam is EIGHT CARAT multiple times Champion Broodmare in NZ and Champion Broodmare in Australia.
This is a family of 63 Stakes horses including 15 Gr1 winners & 13 Gr1 placegetters such as OCTAGONAL, SHOOTING TO WIN, DEBEERS, VISCOUNT, DANEWIN, LUNA ROSSA, DIAMOND LOVER, TRISTALOVE, VIKING RULER, KAAPSTAD, MOUAWAD, DON EDUARDO, EMERALD DREAM, SHOWER OF ROSES, MARQUISE, along with other notable Stakes Winners including DEEP FIELD, COMMANDS, PERUZZI, KEMPINSKY, HELSINBORG, COURT OF JEWELS, ANTWERP, DIAMOND LIKE, etc.
Naturally, being Sir Patrick Hogan's favourite female family, his desire to race this spectacular Colt in Australia with Dynamic Syndications and having the Colt trained by Gai Waterhouse was very exciting and Sir Patrick has joined the co-ownership team to race a Colt he believed was something special.
Our Colt under Saddle
At $13,150 per share, this is the most expensive Yearling we are offering for sale in 2017 and his Pedigree (by a Champion Sire and descending directly from 2 Champions Eight Carat and Tristalove), Flawless Conformation, clean Veterinary Inspection including X-rays and endoscope, a Hall Of Fame Trainer to polish the gem and the fact that the Colt was genetically rated as the "Best Of The Best" catergory on its genetic rating score for the entire 2017 NZB Premier Yearling Sale, explains why this Colt was a high priority target to our team.
He ticks all the boxes !
Add the fact that the best ever Australasian Stud Master and Hall Of Fame Thoroughbred Breeder Sir Patrick Hogan has then purchased into the Colt as a potential stallion prospect for Cambridge Stud - this was the icing on top.
This is the Colt for the racing connoisseur. If you want the best opportunities in racing you have to put yourself in the position to take advantage of such situations when they present.
Opportunities like this are as rare as the Colt himself.
