Dynamic's boss heads to Monday's Raceday at Ballina
With two runners on the programme at
Ballina on Monday afternoon and with a lot of horses in work with leading northern rivers trainer
Matthew Dunn (who is based at
Murwillumbah), Dynamic's team leader Dean, has headed up to the northern rivers district to attend today's meeting and also visit Matty's stables, reviewing our horses in work and the wonderful facilities this high quality young trainer has at his disposal.
This afternoon,
Dynamic Syndications has two runners - race 4 #1 BORIS BADENOV and in race 8 #2 UNADULTERATED.
Boris Badenov
BORIS BADENOV is having his second run for the Matty Dunn stable. He resumed running 2nd at the Gold Coast beaten an inch. He had a torrid run that day and went via the Cape on the home turn and drove hard to the line in a bobbing finish he was in front everywhere but where they took the picture. It is hopped he may have a more economical run here, with leading rider
Tim Bell in the saddle. He has started 4 times for a win and a nose second.
Unadulterated
UNADULTERATED is first up after a long spell and finds a tricky affair in an apprentice only event to finish the day. Several of the opposition come into this race with good form lines and recent racing fitness. Unadulterated has the services of leading apprentice
Travis Wolfgram however he has out ridden his claim, so we must carry the full 59.5kgs. It's a big ask, especially as he is a back marker on a track known to favour on pace runners and the big weight and fitness will both be considerations however he has shown class so far with 6 runs = 2 wins, 1 second, 2 thirds.
Matty Dunn
Having the opportunity to go to the stables is the biggest part of the day. Matty trains at Murwillumbah which is about 50 minutes’ drive south from the Surfer's Paradise whilst Ballina is only 40 minutes further south.
Matty's facilities are first class and has direct access to day yards and importantly, a direct trail to the beach, which is very therapeutic for his horses. It's no wonder Matty with these facilities at his disposal, matched to his abilities, was the leading trainer in the northern rivers last season with over 100 winners and ran 2nd in the Brisbane training premiership.
Dynamic Syndications forward up the highway, horses that are Sydney provincial / mid-week class because the opportunities in this region and across the border in Queensland, are more plentiful than in Sydney. Importantly for our owners, the costs are significantly less and the horses thrive in the better environment, away from the sausage factory style's of some of the bigger stables in Sydney.
We wish our owners well with their runners today and into the future.
