PERPLEXITY heads to Randwick on Saturday for Waller and Dynamic
PERPLEXITY
Chris Waller will saddle up
Dynamic Syndications promising stayer PERPLEXITY at Randwick on Saturday in race 7 Shop With The TAB App 3yo + Benchmark 80.
He is Number 6, drawn barrier 7 with
Josh Parr in the saddle.
Whilst only his second run back from a spell, he strips significantly fitter for this assignment and the jump in distance to 1800m is certainly more in his favour and with average racing luck its hoped he will make his presence felt.
Whilst he never threatened first up over an unsuitable 1400m on October 25 after settling back in the field in what became a sit and sprint affair, he’s far better placed in this event.
He worked very well on Tuesday finishing off his work over 800m in 52.60 extending nicely
his final 200m in 12.19 and was
strong through the line to record the
best final split of the morning with the markers out 10 metres on the inside grass.
In a tough race, he is certainly a horse that is capable of finishing in the mix with average racing luck.
Perplexity is back racing with a view to race in the
distance event over the Christmas, New Year period.
He has raced on
18 occasions: 4 wins, 2 seconds, 2 thirds and $138,310.
He is certainly versatile having won at
1400m, 1550m, 2200m and 2500m. However he is not comfortable in slow or heavy ground.
Dynamic Syndications purchased him from the
Inglis Classic Sales for $75,000 as a yearling and we believe that his best is still well in front of him.
