ARBEITSAM, Dynamic Syndications highly promising son of SNITZEL, demolished his opposition at Warwick Farm on Saturday with a powerful front running display dictating from the time the gates crashed back until the click of the camera on the finishing post.
ARBEITSAM wins hands and heels eased down by 2 lengths
Third up after a long break, we always had this race identified for
ARBEITSAM well before his first resumption race at Rosehill two runs previous.
Pre-Race Parade
Cantering off to the start
A magnificent looking horse, he possesses a very high cruising speed and a strong determination at the finish.
On Saturday at Warwick Farm ARBEITSAM took his career to:
9 starts: 3 wins, 1 second, 3 thirds and $215,900 including $45,000 in BOBS Bonuses.
Congratulations go to Adrian Bott and the team at Gai Waterhouse racing who have managed the training regime of this horse so well.
However whilst the plaudits are being handed down, nobody deserves it more so than his
jet pilot ADAM HYERONIMUS who gets on so well with our horse.
Pre-race, Adam was extremely confident. Having ridden the horse in lead up trackwork, Adam believed
ARBEITSAM had improved since his previous run 3 weeks earlier.
Class rose to the top in this event as
ARBEITSAM, a proven Saturday class horse, was too good for provincial / mid week class opposition trying to rise to Saturday level.
Adam who rides many for the
Waterhouse / Bott stables, knows how the stable likes their horses ridden and has the experience and class to deliver on these tactics.
From a flying start to an eased down finish, Adam Hyeronimus rode AREBEITSAM professionally with the skill of a craftsman.
Upon returning to scale, Adam was interviewed for Sky Channel TV by Lizzie Jelfs and he said:
“It was a very Dynamic win today, he won very Dynamically.”
“Here at Warwick Farm last time, same distance, same sort of lead up to the race, he began sharply and that’s the same type of theme here.
“He had the wood on them from the get-go, I thought I controlled the race from then onwards, and once I asked him at the 600m he really picked up well.
“I think he will get further, he was still a little bit soft today, he's a big horse. He’s come back stronger this preparation, so even with if he does go up in distance, he's got a good idea and knows what's going on.
“Yeah it was a very good win”
In conclusion, Lizzie Jelfs said
“It was a Dynamic win”
Our trainer Adrian Bott was interviewed by Richard Haynes post-race and said:
“From the outset, he has shown us plenty, he is a lot better than his form suggests.
“He is consistent and tough and thrives on his work.”
When asked if he felt
ARBEITSAM could be a
lightweight EPSOM hopeful Adrian commented:
“He is a promising horse and we will just take him through his grades.
“He hit the ground running today, Adam was able to rate him perfectly and allow him to get into a rhythm, and when he entered the straight, he had a good break on them and he was strong all the way though the line for us.”
“He's a very fit horse and his asset is a high cruising speed and he's able to show a good turn of foot off a good tempo as well.”
There was
extra satisfaction from this win for the owners and connections as ARBEITSAM and Adam Hyeronimus returned to scale victorious, a chorus of laughter and merriment broke out in the Winner’s Circle amongst the owners as they heard a rendition of Flanagan and Allen’s famous song “Run Rabbit Run.”
Winners are Grinners !
As a result, the
champagne in the winners room never tasted sweeter for these owners and with glasses in hand
ARBEITSAM was given a resounding 3 cheers !
AREBEITSAM lumping
59.5kgs won eased down by 2 lengths and gave the runner-up
2.5kgs and the third horse
5.0kgs in weight and clocked 1:23.07 which was 0.81
quicker than the other race at the 1300m distance on the programme.
