The Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott trained 4yo gelding THE BULL (by LOPE DE VEGA) is proving to be a very handy racehorse to his connections.
THE BULL - Winner at Canterbury 11-11
Whilst it took a little while between his ears for the penny to drop,
the class and skill of the HALL OF FAME Lady Trainer GAI has polished this headstrong racehorse into a “Winning Machine”.
Now with an excellent record of 9 starts: 3 wins, 1 second and 2 thirds and $84,060 in the bank, the son of High Quality Young Sire LOPE DE VEGA looks to have a few more wins available to him throughout his racing career.
However as impressive as his record now reads, it’s even more so when you analyse his last 4 runs which result in 3 wins and a close second at Randwick to his stablemate.
Recent form of:
1st Canterbury over 1900m 11/11.
2nd Randwick 1600m 1/11,
1st Hawkesbury 1400m 20/10,
1st Kembla Grange over 1400m 8/10,
Congrats to his Round Table Ownership Team that race The Bull with Gai:
Mr D F Rye, Mrs J L Rye, Mr S K Walker, Mrs M Walker, Mr T Mitevski, Mrs S Mitevski, Mr A P Bolton, Mrs A L Bolton, Mr D A Warner, Mr L A Lavery, Mr J A Wilson, Mr S Richards, Mr W B Fornari, Mr R W Wilson, Mr S E Marsh, Mr M A Burns, Mr M E Rogala, Mr T E McDermott, Mr D N Jess, Mr M R Marsh
It’s easy to understand why Gai Waterhouse is so in raptures about the strength and ability of the LOPE DE VEGA breed.
However to find a good one by the sire is difficult as they are as rare as the proverbial
“Hen’s teeth”.
There just are not that many around.
LOPE DE VEGA shuttled to Australia in his early years at the now defunct Nathan Tickler enterprise Patinack Farm.
Limited opportunities at that establishment resulted in small foal crops.
Since then, the stallion has
“Taken Off” in Europe and is now standing at a fee of
45,000 Euro is now considered by his owners
“too valuable” to be sent back to Australia.
THE BULL was from his first Australian Crop.
DYNAMIC SYNDICATIONS purchased an outstanding colt by LOPE DE VEGA from MIMES at the Magic Millions in 2016.
OUR 2yo COLT
He is such a fabulous looking individual that we decided to leave him to be our FINAL COLT to offer for sale in 2016.
We wanted to finish the year off with a Bang !
Bred to be a 3yo and 4yo Sprinter / Miler, this colt has been in and out of pre-training and training several times and he has continued to impress all at the stables.
Referring back to the recent deeds of
THE BULL – Gai Waterhouse said in an interview on Monday 14/11:
“You only have to see a horse like THE BULL - who won so tenaciously the other night – What a great breed they are and what I like so much about the LOPE DE VEGA’s is they just roll up their sleeves and get on with the job.”
“Your horse (Dynamic Syndications) that you’re presently selling is exactly that – he gets on with the job, he’s under the radar. I love horses like that – I couldn’t be more impressed with him. He gives the riders and the trainers – Adrian and myself, a great feel.”
OUR 2yo COLT
When you see the photos of the colt, then his trackwork video, then see his action shots, it’s easy to be swept along with Gai’s affection for this boy.

Fantastic Type and so Affordable at just $6,750 per share, it’s easy to say
“Let your eyes be your judge and your pockets be your guide.”
Obviously many of our owners have thought the same, as we are already 70% Sold in this Equine Adonis.
He also comes from one of the Best Families in the Stud Book.
His Dam was a winner and has had 5 foals to race – All Winners.
This colt is related to Gai’s GOLDEN SLIPPER Winner – OVERREACH, Dynamic Syndications BLUE DIAMOND Winner – REWARD FOR EFFORT and the Magic Millions Winner – CATNIPPED.
Also there is the incredibly exciting NZ 2yo of this season PROM QUEEN – 2 starts 2 wins inc: CJC Welcome Stakes LR.
So with only 6 shares remaining and the fact we know how well he moves, what a great type he is, how well he is bred and how well the sire is going, then adding in the fact of how much Gai likes the colt, then………. Don’t Delay.
