Winning Double and First Stakes Success for Arrowfield Shuttler OLYMPIC GLORY

It was a terrific weekend in Europe for Arrowfield Stud shuttler Olympic Glory (IRE) as he posted a winning double and his first stakes-winner in France.

OLYMPIC GLORY - First Crop Sire & 4 x Gr1 Winner

KARAKTAIR broke his maiden in race 1 on the programme the Prix de la Depeche du Midi over 1600m becoming Olympic Glory’s 17th Individual Winner.

Then just 30 minutes later in race 2 on the same programme, two year old filly WATCH ME became his 18th Individual Winner when she won the Listed Criterium du Languedoc - Prix Bernard de Marmiesse over 1600m.

Watch Me had shown excellent promise on debut with an unlucky third placing at Saint-Cloud, so it wasn’t a surprise to her supporters to see her break through in Black Type class scoring by a length and a quarter over the one mile (1600m) on turf at her second start. Watch Me was the only maiden and the least experienced with only the one race under her belt but she was far too good for her peers.

Watch Me is the third winner from Galileo mare Watchful, a winning grand-daughter of Group 1 winner Sharaya.

Olympic Glory, a multiple Group 1 winning sprinter miler by Choisir, has his first Australian two year olds this season. He stands at Arrowfield at a fee of $16,500.

Dynamic Syndications have syndicated a magnificent colt by this boom European first crop sire Olympic Glory. He was from the sensational Gr1 winning mare Covertly.

A Magic Millions purchase from the Arrowfield Stud draft, when Dynamic Syndications purchased the colt through the sale ring, Arrowfield came over and congratulated us and then purchased a 10% share to race him with Team Dynamic.

The colt is in the care of GAI Waterhouse and Adrian Bott.
