The youngster had scored on debut at Bendigo and followed up with a fighting win in the Inglis Banner (1000m), to earn his first black type win and maintain his unbeaten record. Dalradian has earned $189,800 inc $41,300 in Inglis and VOBIS bonuses.

Dynamic Syndications promising 3yo filly NAGAS won at Tatura on Tuesday for Trainer Peter Moody and jockey Daniel Stackhouse. Facing the starter for just the second time, Nagas had to overcome difficulties in obtaining a run in the straight to force her way out and hit the line in terrific style to score a tough win. She appears a promising staying filly in the making.

Darley stallions dominated the finish of Saturday’s Gr3 Telstra Phonewords Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley with the winner HOLLER (by COMMANDS) in a class of his own. The colt bounced straight to the front by James McDonald and he increased his lead at every call to win eased down by four and a half lengths.

The enthusiasm for Uncle Mo as a young sire is well merited and he added another stakes winner to his lengthening list of star progeny, when 2yo colt FOREVAMO broke his maiden in the Jean Lafitte Stakes (Listed Race) 1600m in the US on Saturday. He became the 14th individual winner and his 5th SW from his first northern hemisphere crop .
