Australia’s most progressive bloodstock operation,
Newgate Farm is set to stand eight stallions in 2016 with $7 million earner
Criterion the latest addition to a power packed roster.
CRITERION
A charismatic son of Golden Slipper winner and leading sire
Sebring, Criterion offers the commercial breeder – performance, pedigree and the sparkling good looks that made him such a favourite with racing fans.
A brilliant fast maturing early two year-old that trained on to Guineas and Classic success at three before adding weight-for-age triumphs to his resume at four and five.
He heads the roster from
another Sebring superstar son in Dissident, who met with instant approval from broodmare owners last spring covering 196 mares in his debut season and is priced to please again this year at $33,000.
DISSIDENT
His first foals are eagerly awaited as are those by fellow Newgate young guns
Wandjina and Deep Field, whose fees are set at $27,500 and $22,000 respectively.
The first stunning weanlings by The Factor (USA), Eurozone and Sizzling are poised to make their mark at coming sales and all three are available to breeders at Newgate this spring along with Foxwedge, who has made an encouraging start to his stud career and is the co-leading First Season Sire by winners for Australasia with five winners on the board in Australia and NZ.
FOXWEDGE
