Coolmore based US sire sensation
UNCLE MO (USA) made it
two Australian winners from his first two runners when Motime saluted on debut at Canberra on Friday.
Prepared on the track by Gratz Vella, Motime was fifth in a barrier trial on his home track earlier this month, but improved on race day to take the competitive 1000 metre event.
Motime looked a real professional, jumping well from gate one to hold the fence albeit settling third behind the two leaders.
When shown clear running in the straight, he powered to the line to win by two lengths in a very encouraging debut.
Motime was a modest

A former Champion USA 2YO, Uncle Mo will finish 2015 as Champion First Crop Sire in North America and Champion Sire of Two Year Olds, so there is now a considerable degree of anticipation surrounding his Australian bred offspring.
Uncle Mo has a dozen yearlings entered for the 2016 Magic Millions and seven for Inglis Classic.
Uncle Mo also produced the winner of the final race at Del Mar in 2015 when Uncle Lino scored in race 9 over 1300m yesterday.
That result took him to
25 Individual Winners in the USA which sees him lead the first crop sires premiership. Uncle Mo has also produced
7 Stakes Winners and 4 stakes placed.
With the 2 runners = 2 winners in the Southern Hemisphere as well, Uncle Mo is a sire sensation.
Such was the demand for the sire in Australia this season that based upon demand he has covered close to 190 mares and saw his fee increase to $25,000 for the final part of the season.
