Dynamic Syndications will saddle up 3 runners today at Canterbury Park. The track this morning was rated a Heavy 9.
Race 5 REPARTEE # 13 David Payne / Jeff Lloyd. She went super last start over 1000m at Kembla winning with ease in slick time. Has been placed at Canterbury on a Heavy track before and has won and run second twice on heavy tracks. Drawn well and will be up on the pace. Hopefully she gets luck in transit and has a clear run. Is taking on the very promising Sultry Feeling so our owners will get a good idea how their mare is progressing.
Race 6 CURFEW # 1 Peter & Paul Snowden / Josh Parr. First start for new trainer. Always shown above average ability especially early in his preparation. Has performed well on rain affected tracks in the past. First up on a heavy 9 is a slight concern whether he is forward enough under the top weight however he is a classy type and should settle on pace and give a good sight.
Race 7 FULL BLAST # 11 Bart & James Cummings / Josh Parr. The horse was ideally placed on Monday at Goulburn over 1300m but the race was washed out. Comes to Canterbury in a harder event and drawn awkwardly however his track work has been top notch since his first up run. The 1250m suits well and appears a competitive chance in an even race. By Race 7 on the programme luck will be important and how the track is playing will be vital as our horse should be settling mid-field.
Sadly, Full Blast will run for the first time since the passing of co-owner Dennis Shepherd who lost his battle with illness recently.
