ALL TOO HARD was officially the
“RUNNER-UP” in the
2 categories that matter on the
First Seasons Sire Premiership: Earnings & Winners.
By EARNINGS:
1st PIERRO $872,635 (7 Winners + 1 Winner in S. Af)
2nd ALL TOO HARD $744,690 (10 Winners + 1 in NZ)
By WINNERS:
1st YOUR SONG 11
2nd ALL TOO HARD 10 (+ 1 in NZ = 11)
However - It’s a Fact:
1) No First Season Sire produced more 2yo Winners than ALL TOO HARD
2) No First Season Sire produced more Stakes Winners than ALL TOO HARD
3) No First Season Sire produced more Stakes Wins than ALL TOO HARD
4) No First Season Sire produced more Stakes Class results than ALL TOO HARD
5) No First Season Sire produced more Placed horses than ALL TOO HARD
6) No First Season Sire produced more Placings than ALL TOO HARD
7) No First Season Sire produced more overseas based winners than ALL TOO HARD
8) & ….. Only PIERRO Earned more Prizemoney than ALL TOO HARD
Therefore of the 8 factors above, NO SIRE was better than ALL TOO HARD in 7 categories and ALL TOO HARD was only pipped by PIERRO under the prizemoney category.
With such a wonderful first crop of 2yo’s coming to the fore and such a big book of mares being covered by
ALL TOO HARD in his second season, the sire has a bright future ahead of him.
We look forward to a very productive 3yo season and another 2yo season ahead and it would be no surprise to see him this time next year crowned as Champion 2nd Crop Sire.
And
ALL TOO HARD couldn't be off to a better start at the conclusion of the first month of the new racing season.
All Too Hard is the clear leader on Earnings ($121,830) trading blows with Your Song ($102,475) whilst Pierro sits comfortably in 3rd spot stalking the leading pair.
As for the secondary premiership of
Number of Winners, Your Song
(5) leads All Too Hard
(4) and there has been a promising start to the 3 year-old crop by AMERICAIN who has 3 winners from 10 starter (30%).
Pierro had a new winner also a new stakes performer with Poseidon's Pool finishing third in the Group 3 MRC Vain Stakes
This is shaping as a competitive division but class always rises to the top.
There is little surprise that
ALL TOO HARD and PIERRO (both Champion racehorses) were leading first crop sire’s last season and are leading the way in the early stages of this season.
With the arrival of Spring and carnival action heating up, these two alpha males are set to have a lot of success.
Dynamic Syndications purchased 2 ALL TOO HARD Yearlings in 2017 based upon a decision that he would be an outstanding First Crop Sire.
Our judgement was justified in the fact
ALL TOO HARD was officially the
RUNNER-UP on the first seasons sires premiership but as per the facts outlined above, he was only pipped on the post in Earnings by
PIERRO and
No Sire had produced better racetrack results than ALL TOO HARD in each of the other 7 factors mentioned above.
So who was really “The BEST” 1st Crop Sire?
So who will be the BEST 2nd Crop Sire?
