Unbeaten and now a Group 1 Winner sits on the resume for outstanding
West Australian 3yo filly Perfect Reflection after she won her first Gr1 win saluting in the
Kingston Town Classic at Ascot on Saturday.
Perfect Reflection defeated her elder stablemate and last season’s Australian champion 3YO filly Delicacy by a nose to become the first ever 3YO filly to win since the Kingston Town Classic since its inception in 1976.
Perfect Reflection
The victory gave Perfect Reflection’s sire
More Than Ready his 17th Group One winner and crowned what has been a tremendous 12 months for her owner Bob Peters.
Perfect Reflection is a homebred for Bob and Sandra Peters and continues the great success they have enjoyed with her family. This season the Peters family have already won nine stakes races.
Perfect Reflection only made her debut three months ago when she won at Pinjarra on September 2.
She then added a Belmont Park win on October 7 prior to her first stakes win in the Listed Belgravia Stakes over 1200m at Ascot on October 21.
She then went to 1600m to win the Gr3 WA Champion Fillies Stakes on November 14 before taking the step Gr1 company with the advantage of the 3YO weight allowance in the Kingston Classic.
Peters has supported More Than Ready with mares every season. Their homebred filly Dreamaway by More Than Ready, won the Gr1 WA Derby in 2011.
