Port Adelaide Guineas (Listed, 1800m) at Morphettville to provide his
Arrowfield Stud-based sire Redoute’s Choice (Danehill) with his 130th Stakes Winner. Metro Cowboy (Good Journey) was beaten a length for second, with
War Legend (Rip Van Winkle) third.
Howard Be Thy Name was already stakes placed, having placed second in the Tasmanian Derby (Listed, 2200m).

REDOUTE’S CHOICE is the Number 1 Sire in Australia and his yearlings sold through the roof at the recent Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sales where he had 20 Yearlings sell for an average $573,250.
That was a massive 120% increase in averages from his 2015 yearling sales figures.
Throughout all the 2016 Yearling Sales, REDOUTE’S CHOICE had 46 yearlings sell for an average $379,000.
It’s easy to understand why. The stallion with 130 SW, this season has produced 11 Stakes Winners and 8 Stakes Placegetters.
