Morning All,
Welcome to Adam’s Blog, our new weekly piece that will be put up on a Tuesday following my morning at Track Work with Gai Waterhouse and the team from Tulloch Lodge.
I attend track work weekly to keep an eye on our many Dynamic gallopers that are in work at Tulloch Lodge, it is great to be in the engine room hearing what the riders and of course your trainer has to say about our chargers.
It truly has been fascinating getting to see the way Gai and her team operates, I have loved every minute of it and I look forward to providing you with weekly comments and videos.
This morning we watched our exciting son of Snitzel, PUB GRUB have a gallop on the dirt track with Mark Newman in the saddle.
It was an incredibly impressive piece of work over 3 furlongs (600 meters), PUB GRUB had the better of his work mate this morning running home his final 200m in a scintillating 11.1.
He looks ready to progress to the trials in the coming weeks and he is one that needs to be in the black book.
MADE TO ORDER was also out and about today, it was just a morning of slow work following a brilliant Gallop yesterday AM.
MADE TO ORDER was due to run on Saturday at Rosehill, unfortunately the heavens opened up and her race was abandoned.
She will run this coming Saturday at Randwick over 1600m and based on her work yesterday, she will be extremely competitive.
Another one of our exciting youngsters in work with Gai is CAPEABEEL she is a daughter of international superstar racehorse Cape Blanco.
CAPEABEEL has been doing all that has been asked of her on the training track in recent weeks and today she ventured to the bullring for some barrier practice. She was as quiet as a lamb, she stood there patiently, loaded without fuss and pinged away from the gates. It was great to see her take the experience in her stride.
Below you will find our weekly recap of track work, featuring not only our Dynamic Syndications horses but also a few of Gai’s big guns being prepared for the Autumn Carnival in Sydney !
Tune in next week for another Episode and Entry from our At The Track with Gai.
