Racing fans in Australia are in for a massive treat tomorrow, and while there is Group and Listed races wherever one looks, it's understandable that the Gr1 puzzles will hold pride of place. Dynamic Trainers will once again dominate the major meetings with great racing coming out of Sydney and Melbourne in particular.
Three Group 1 races are set to take place at Caulfield as Melbourne’s Festival of Racing heats up a notch. Dynamic will have trainer representation in the three Gr1 events, the FUTURITY, the BLUE DIAMOND and the OAKLEIGH PLATE. Peter Moody will resume LIGHTS OF HEAVEN in the FUTURITY after a Melbourne Cup campaign during the Spring. He was to have 4 runners line up in the Gr1 BLUE DIAMOND but with the scratching of Thermal Current, Pete will have DISSIDENT, KONA BREEZE and QUEST FOR PEACE looking for Gr1 Glory. PETER MOODY and DYNAMIC SYNDICATIONS have had success before in the Gr1 2yo feature when REWARD FOR EFFORT beat home his rivals in 2009 wearing the Dynamic silks. Although we did not aim anything towards the Blue Diamond this year, we wish Pete the best of luck with all of his horses tomorrow and we are hopeful he can continue his rich vein of form.
PETER and DYNAMIC teamed up with REWARD FOR EFFORT to win the 2009 Blue Diamond
MRS ONASSIS will contest the Gr1 OAKLEIGH PLATE for Gerald Ryan and connections tomorrow at Caulfield. She has a great first up record but also steps up a number of levels in class to take on this star-studded field of horses. We wish them the best of luck. CHRIS WALLER and MICK PRICE will also line up runners on the Caulfield card with General Peekay set to run in the 1st for MICK and FORETELLER contesting the Gr2 Peter Young Stakes for CHRIS.
CHRIS WALLER has a number of runners set to go around in Sydney as well. 14 horses are set to take to the Warwick Farm track for CHRIS as he looks to continue a big week for the WALLER Clan. After celebrating the birth of his baby girl during the week, CHRIS will be looking to add to his tally of metropolitan winners after cracking through the magical 100 barrier last Saturday. He has a strong team set to travel to Warwick Farm with all eyes to be on the Apollo Stakes where he lines up 6 competitive runners.
CHRIS WALLER has a big team heading to Warwick Farm tomorrow
With KELINNI and GATEWOOD likely to be looking for further ground, his best chances appear to be SHOUT OUT, TOUGHER THAN EVER and DANLEIGH in the Gr2 $250,000 event. ALBERT THE FAT must also be considered some chance in the feature event on the card. Waller will also line up MARDEN, CALMING INFLUENCE AND NOCTURNELLE in their respective races with the bookmakers opening them all under the 4-1 mark.
Chris has had another wonderful season and a number of Dynamic runners have recently resumed in his stable. Amongst these horses we will see the NORTHERN METEOR – VILLA VALENCIA colt which arrived in his stable yesterday. This impressive 2yo colt was part of the DYNAMIC team that we brought back with us from the New Zealand Ready to Run sale after he breezed up in a slick 10.63 over 200m. He is currently 75% syndicated and is expected to run sometime over the next 6 weeks with a stakes programme being mapped out for him. THERE’S NO WAITING, LETS GO RACING with this colt who is bred to be an outstanding two and three year old prospect! JASON COYLE, DAVID PAYNE, GARY PORTELLI, GERALD RYAN and DARREN SMITH will also have runners on the Sydney card as they gear up towards the carnival. JASON COYLE will also line up DYNAMIC SYNDICATIONS horse MASTERSTROKE tonight at Canterbury Park as he looks to continue his solid run of form. It looks a very competitive race on paper and we are just hopeful that he can hit the line well and hopefully earn some more prizemoney for his owners.
MASTERSTROKE will line up tonight at Canterbury Park
We wish all our DYNAMIC trainers the best of luck over the weekend and hope to see them all in the winner’s circle. With Autumn racing in the air, our trainers all look to have some genuine stakes quality horses to show off over the carnival. Among these is a number of DYNAMIC SYNDICATIONS runners and another Dynamic stakes winners is hopefully just around the corner.
