Dynamic Syndications trainers Chris Waller and Darren Smith have had a stellar couple of days with Darren winning two big races in two different states and Chris producing six individual city winners. Darren’s good run started on Thursday at Gosford when 5yo Testa Rossa gelding, TESTARHYTHM was rewarded with his first stakes victory in the LR Takeover Tarket Stakes over 1200m. Testarhythm put paid to his rivals winning on the line officially by 1.5 x HD and put a smile on the faces of the Dynamic team.
Darren Smith had a wonderful few days
This was a tremendous training performance by Darren who was luckless when he took Testarhythm to Melbourne late last year. Since arriving back in Sydney, Testarhythm has lived up to his potential and has now won a total of $310,900 for his clients from just 15 career starts. Darren has had a great first 5 months of season 2012-13 and sits firmly inside the top 10 trainers in NSW with 28 winners so far this season.
Darren also added to his overall winners tally when Whisperossa won the $100,000 Sky Racing World Magic Millions Class 6 Plate on Saturday at the Gold Coast. This was Darren’s second big result in a matter of days and he was on track at the Gold Coast to celebrate the gutsy victory. This win capped off a wonderful Magic Millions carnival in which we saw good results both on and off the track for Dynamic Syndications. We congratulate Darren and his whole team for the hard work they have put in with all their horses and it’s great to see the just reward coming through after all the effort. We have 10 horses currently in the care of Darren with a number of them looking at resuming in the next few weeks. It will not be long before we see Darren teaming up with team Dynamic for yet another winner.
Chris Waller also had an unbelievable weekend managing to salute with six individual city winners over Queensland and NSW. This has become a welcome trend over the past few years for team Waller with it not uncommon to see him training multiple winners on a city card. It all started on Friday evening at Canterbury when he had a treble with Wind Bender, Kristy Lee and Writteninthestars all winning in good fashion and adding to Chris’s already impressive tally. To train any city winner is a great effort but to have three on one card is something that is very special. This season alone, Chris has had training trebles on nine separate occasions, a figure which is unmatched by any trainer in NSW. This form has seen him become one of the most sort after trainers in the business and Dynamic are extremely happy to have him in our camp.
His good work was not finished there with another three winners coming on Saturday, two at Rosehill and one on the Gold Coast. As usual, Chris started off with a bang when impressive 2yo Commands filly, Calming Influence lived up to her trial hype and won impressively beating home the Darren Smith trained Dream Forward in yet another Dynamic training quinella. Chris made it a running double when 3yo filly Royal Decent continued his unbeaten run winning in impressive style in the Australian Turf Club BM75 over 1400m.
Chris went on to have another four placings on the Rosehill card but his next winner was his most lucrative of the weekend as Triple Elegance returned to form to win the $400,000 Magic Millions Cup over 1400m. After a sensational run in the Villiers Stakes at Warwick Farm late last year, it was just reward for the 6yo gelding who has now won just shy of $800k in prizemoney.
Chris has now trained 111 winners in NSW, Queensland and Victoria this racing season for over $6.4m in prizemoney for his clients. He is currently the leading Sydney, NSW and Metropolitan trainers’ premiership and sits second for overall race wins. Chris continues to raise the bar in the training ranks and is on track to win yet another Sydney training premiership making it his third consecutive year as Sydney’s Premier Trainer.
These brilliant performances are not uncommon for our Dynamic group of trainers who have continued to win race after race over the past 7 seasons. We make sure that each of our trainers are carefully selected with every horse that we buy to ensure that you have the best opportunity of racetrack success.
We congratulate both Chris and Darren on their sensational weekends and look forward to joining them in the winner’s circle in the near future. Make sure you check the Dynamic website for more information on our elite group of trainers.
