Dynamic Syndications and Gai Waterhouse Racing were delighted to see 4yo mare
CLADOCERA add further valuable
Black Type to her pedigree when finishing a creditable
3rd in the Duke Of Cambridge Stakes – a Gr2 event for fillies and mares over 8 furlongs (1609m) on Day 2 at Royal Ascot.
CLADOCERA finishes 3rd (Navy & Sky Blue Colours)
Dynamic Syndications and Gai are currently offering for sale a superb filly by
EXCEED AND EXCEL ex RED FEVER (by Red Ransom) who is closely related to
CLADOCERA and for any filly related to high quality race fillies, these results both on the racetrack and in the breeding barn can add significant commercial value to these families.
Our filly is already bred in the purple, being related to
102 Stakes Class Horses (51 Stakes Winners and 51 Stakes Placed) in her female family.
CLADOCERA was facing the starter for the 9th time in her racing career and has taken her resume to:
4 wins, 1 second, 1 third and £287,035. She has won at Gr2 level twice and also a Listed Race, as well as being Gr2 and Listed Race placed.
Her catalogue style pedigree page is looking exceptionally pleasing for her connections (and ours):
CLADOCERA (f by Oasis Dream)
4 wins at 1600, 1800m, £287,035, to 2014-15, Meydan Balanchine S.,
Gr2, Cape Verdi S.,
Gr2, Longchamp Prix des Lilas,
L, Chantilly Prix des Gres, 2d Kempton Hyde S.,
L, 3d Royal Ascot Duke Of Cambridge S.,
Gr3.
The race was won by
Amazing Maria which caused the first major upset of the meeting starting at 25/1 whilst the pre-race favourite
Integral was unplaced.
As they jumped,
Bragging assumed the lead and set a slow tempo early but was under pressure at the 600m eventual runner-up
Rizeena went to the lead.
Amazing Maria unwound strongly with
Cladocera (8/1) in third spot chasing hard.
Cladocera had tracked the leading pair and when asked for an effort at the 400m she tried hard but since the race was a sit and sprint affair and with her past two runs at 1800m,
Cladocera didn’t have the sprint in her legs to catch the leaders over the final 200m. She was strong through the line and was looking for further.
This was a nice result for
Dynamic Syndications Owners whom have already invested in our superb filly by exceptional sire
EXCEED AND EXCEL from RED FEVER which is being
trained by GAI WATERHOUSE.
It’s always rewarding to see a close relation adding valuable
ROYAL ASCOT form to a filly’s pedigree page.
CLADOCERA who sits prominently within the 3rd Dam of the catalogue style pedigree of our filly.
When we purchased our filly on 10 January this year,
CLADOCERA’s catalogue pedigree entry read:
CLADOCERA (f by Oasis Dream) 2 wins at 1600m in 2014 Longchamp Prix des Lilas,
L, Chantilly Prix des Gres.
Now it has improved significantly and reads:
CLADOCERA (f by Oasis Dream)
4 wins at 1600, 1800m, £287,035, to 2014-15, Meydan Balanchine S.,
Gr2, Cape Verdi S.,
Gr2, Longchamp Prix des Lilas,
L, Chantilly Prix des Gres, 2d Kempton Hyde S.,
L, 3d Royal Ascot Duke Of Cambridge S.,
Gr3.
These significant updates, along with 6 other horses adding important / significant updates since we purchased our filly, has resulted in our filly’s commercial value increasing.
We only launched our filly earlier this week and are well already advanced in the syndication of our
EXCEED AND EXCEL / RED FEVER Filly with GAI.
5% Shares which include
Full Owners Privileges and our

$6,900 and all ongoing costs should average approximately $8.20 per day.
