This coming Saturday 2nd April,
New Zealand’s leading 2yo HEROIC VALOUR will face the starter for the fourth time in his promising race career and there is much confidence across the ditch that this last start
Group 1 Winning, Australian Bred Colt can make it 4 from 4, when he takes on his peers at Awapuni in the
Group 1 Manawatu Sires’ Produce Stakes 1400m at Set Weights.
Trained by Stephen Autridge and to be ridden by Jonathan Riddell, the 2yo Colt has come up with the ideal draw in barrier 2 for this important clash.
HEROIC VALOUR winning the Gr1 Diamond Stakes 1200m
HEROIC VALOUR is by Champion Australian Sire FASTNET ROCK (Danehill) from MYRRH (Nassipour).
TRIPLE HONOUR
HEROIC VALOUR is bred to be successful being a 3/4 brother to Group 1 Winner TRIPLE HONOUR.
Is the following a coincidence or an omen ?
TRIPLE HONOUR winning the AJC Doncaster Hcp Gr1
TRIPLE HONOUR recorded his Group 1 Glory when winning the AJC Doncaster Hcp and this year’s renewal of the famous race will also be run on Saturday at Randwick.
HEROIC VALOUR winning his Gr1
Is it possible his now equally famous 3/4 brother HEROIC VALOUR could add a further Group 1 event to the family also on Doncaster Day albeit in NZ ?
Dynamic Syndications will be watching on with great interest as the race certainly holds fascination and potentially,
a handsome commercial reward for Team Dynamic which we will pass onto our owners.
Dynamic Syndications purchased Lot 404 at the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale on the 1st March.
Pedigree Updated 31/3
Our COLT - REDOUTE'S CHOICE ex TRIPLED
He was a masculine, strong and correct colt by Australia’s Champion Sire REDOUTE’S CHOICE (Danehill) from the mare TRIPLED (General Nediym).
Our colt is the 2nd foal from TRIPLED.
TRIPLED is a half-sister to both TRIPLE HONOUR (by Honours List – a son of Danehill) and HEROIC VALOUR by Fastnet Rock – a son of Danehill).
Since we purchased our colt, there have been two (2) significant pedigree updates.
.1 The first foal of TRIPLED a filly named TRIPLE EFFORT has won after the catalogue was printed on
27/2/16 and we understand from reports is being aimed at Black Type events in the upcoming Adelaide carnival.
.2 HEROIC VALOUR when the catalogue was printed had not been to the races.
Since then,
he won his maiden over 1000m on 30/1/16 at Trentham.
Then at his second start, he won the 2yo C&G SLIPPER over 1200m a Listed Race at Matamata running 1:10.05 and added nice and valuable Black Type to the Pedigree Page.
Next was his third and most recent start, where he went to Group 1 company and beat his rivals in the DIAMOND Stakes over 1200m running 1:09.79.
He is now a Genuine Stallion Prospect, having won his first 3 starts including the Group 1 sprint and looks assured of being the Champion 2yo of NZ and with him being a speed son of FASTNET ROCK his years at stud are assured.
We can only wonder how far his value will skyrocket if he can add a 4th win to his resume on Saturday and what would be second win at Group 1 level?
So naturally, with our colt being by Redoute’s Choice – Danehill’s Best son (with HEROIC VALOUR being by Fastnet Rock – a Champion son of Danehill), from the half-sister to both HEROIC VALOUR and TRIPLE HONOUR, this makes our colt a 3/4 brother-in-blood to HEROIC VALOUR and TRIPLE HONOUR.
With
HEROIC VALOUR’s recent successes,
our colt is now worth considerably more than he was on the 1st March.
As a result of this massive commercial improvement to the pedigree page, our Colt would be an automatic stallion prospect should he too be able to gain black type in the same fashion, as his now two famous, Group 1 winning uncles.
Also, there is a Yearling full brother to HEROIC VALOUR (3/4 brother-in-blood to our colt) still to race who could also add big black type.
Lot 432 FASTNET ROCK ex MYRRH - Full Brother to HEROIC VALOUR - $510,000 Yearling
He was Lot 432 at the NZ Premier yearling sale this year and sold to HEROIC VALOUR’S owners for $510,000.
Naturally, we wish all the connections of
HEROIC VALOUR the best of racing luck with their colt going forward.
On exposed form, there are two other potential chances in this Gr1 event by Australian sires.
In particular the Murray Baker trained filly named
Lunar Rossa by WRITTEN TYCOON looks well in this event with Lisa Allpress from barrier 7 whilst some thought can be given to the filly named
Gold Rush by SO YOU THINK from barrier 9 now the distance is up to 1400m.
