Leading Sydney trainer CHRIS WALLER took time out of his busy schedule on Friday last week to talk to our own Adam Watt about the Dynamic Syndications yearlings which have ended in his care. Chris has had yet another stellar season training winner after winner all around Australia and this season he sits just half a win away from breaking through the 100 metropolitan winners mark.
Chris attended both the Magic Millions and Inglis Classic Yearling Sales where we both inspected all the horses that will make his Rosehill stables home. Every time we purchase a horse, Dynamic makes the carefully thought-out decision as to who will train the particular horse however it is all done in consultation with our trainers. When we suggested to Chris that he would get these four horses to train, he was excited and had little hesitation in accepting them as he too liked all four fillies.
Chris and Dean have a long standing relationship
At the Magic Millions Sales, Team Dynamic and Chris Waller spent plenty of time together discussing what horses Chris may train if we were to purchase them. It just so happened that all of the lots that we came home with Chris had on his shortlist. Each of the three fillies we believe are a good fit for him.
Chris is carrying on the form that he has shown over the past two seasons and does not look like stopping anytime soon. He has been an excellent trainer for Dynamic over many years and many would argue that he is in career best form. We therefore had no hesitation in sending all three of our Magic Millions fillies to Chris so he could prepare them for some big races in the future.
The first of our Dynamic purchases was the MANHATTAN RAIN – MISS EXCELLENCE filly. She went through the ring as lot 71 and is by boom first season stallion, Manhattan Rain. Our filly is bred for genuine speed and one that really took Chris Waller's eye at the sales. Dynamic Syndications have had plenty of luck with this family in recent times as our filly is closely related to REWARD FOR EFFORT. Chris talks about her early foaling date and how it is a massive advantage when looking for those early 2yo races which we plan to target. He touches on the great family lines and how she would be a great investment in the future with her residual value. Another advantage is that she is both BOBS and QTIS eligible meaning that she can target the extra prize money schemes in both NSW and QLD. 5% shares are available in this filly for just $8,625 with all costs inclusive until the 30th of June.
The second lot we purchased was lot 147, a brown filly by champion sire ENCOSTA DE LAGO. Chris Waller gives us his expert opinion and why he wanted to train the ENCOSTA DE LAGO – PRETTY FLAMINGO filly for team Dynamic in the video below. We purchased this filly from the Magic Millions sales and this is where Chris first saw her. The pedigree of this filly is absolutely sensational with black type littered throughout the page. He talks about her sensational blood lines, her excellent strength and why she will be the perfect horse for you as an owner. Shares in this filly will go online in the very near future with shares available from $8,580 for a 5% share.
The final lot that we purchased at the Magic Millions sale was lot 532 from the Magic Millions Yearling Sale and since that time Chris was keen to get her in his yard. In the video below, Chris Waller talks about how this filly has a "faultless" comformation. He also explains that she is extremely well bred being by FASTNET ROCK out of a brilliant stakes winning broodmare in DYNAMIC LOVE. Chris talks about her ongoing residual value and how good FASTNET ROCK fillies continue to go on track. He explains that FASTNET’s are very easy to train and you can really push them going forward. All in all, it is hard to say a bad word about this filly and Chris Waller came to the same conclusion as we did. This filly is currently syndicating for $12,650 and more information can be found on our home page.
Of the two lots that we bought at the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale we decided that one would go to Chris. Dynamic purchased lot 172, the CHOISIR – CARLTON SHOW filly and Chris liked what he saw. In the video below, Chris explains exactly what he saw and some of the things that count as a big positive. He also chats to Adam about what the plans will be with her going forward. Based on pedigree and conformation, she looks a genuine 2yo runner. Considering she was bought at the Inglis Classic sale, races like the Inglis Nursery will definitely be on her radar come next season. A price on this filly will be online shortly.
Dynamic Syndications have full faith in Chris Waller what he does with all of our horses. His results over the past three seasons show you that he works just as hard if not harder than anybody in the business. As you can see in the above videos, Chris is excited to train all four of these fillies and can’t wait to get them into his yard for their first preparation.
