Chris has enjoyed a phenomenal start to the 2012/13 season producing 7 racetrack winners in just 7 days of racing.
6 of these have been in the metropolitan area including an impressive 4 winners at Canterbury on Saturday.
Chris Waller has started off his season in fine style
Chris’s wonderful day started when he had an early treble from the 2nd to the 4th races starting with Stout Hearted’s victory and followed by wins from Relaxed and Happy and Madam Nash.
He concluded his brilliant day with a dominant win from Said Com in the 6th event when he overpowered his rivals despite missing the start.
Chris currently leads in all three categories he won last season at this early stage as well as being in pole position for the Australia wide premiership.
This trend of winner’s looks set to continue on Wednesday at Newcastle where he could potentially saddle up 14 runners, some of whom look to be great chances.
Chris became one of only 4 trainers ever to producer 120 Sydney Metropolitan winners in a season last year joining 3 racing hall of famers including the legendary Tommy Smith.
If he continues to perform in the way he has started the season, he will no doubt go on to win another Sydney premiership and eclipse his mark of 124.5 winners he had last season.
Chris and Dynamic have had great success in the past and we will look for that to continue this season with a number of horses coming back into the stables now to commence work.
These runners include Perplexity who looks to be a promising stayer, Specific Choice who is working well and Fraud who has come back stronger than ever.
Chris Waller and Dean Watt with another Dynamic purchase
All things going accordingly, we expect to see this 3yo treble on the trial tracks come the end of August.
Icy Mist is also currently racing on behalf of Dynamic in the Chris Waller stable and has been placed 3rd in its last 2 runs with her hoof firmly placed on the till.
We are hopeful that Icy Mist can add to Chris’ tally with a 1550 metres race touted as her possible task next Wednesday at Canterbury.
Icy Mist will be looking to break through next start
We wish Chris all the best of luck with his upcoming runners and look forward to joining him in the winner’s circle very shortly.
