Dean Watt - Dynamic Syndications with Magic Millions (05) & Golden Slipper (03) Trophies
Blue Diamond Winner - REWARD FOR EFFORT (09) and GAI WATERHOUSE
We all crave it, it’s in our DNA as much as it’s in the horses we love to own or follow.
In Australia, it’s our obsession but we’re not alone. There is not a racing fan around the globe that doesn’t want to win 2yo races.
EXCEED AND EXCEL is sitting on 99 Stakes Winners & is Australia’s WORLD CHAMPION SOURCE of 2yo Speed.
If you want to live the dream of a
GOLDEN SLIPPER, BLUE DIAMOND, MAGIC MILLIONS or any other prestigious 2yo event –
Owners buy EXCEED AND EXCEL yearlings.
Again in 2014-15 Racing Season, Exceed And Excel is clearly the Leading Sire of 2yo’s and on the General Sires Premiership sits second to Fastnet Rock.
Currently placed on 99 Stakes Winners and ready to bring up his century, there simply isn’t a greater source of 2yo speed on the planet than
EXCEED AND EXCEL.
Dynamic Syndications boss Dean Watt is the only bloodstock agent / syndicator to have WON the 3 MAJOR 2yo Races: Golden Slipper, Blue Diamond and Magic Millions.
In fact – only one (1) other person who has won these 3 MAJOR 2yo Races – such is the exclusivity of this rare club.
Whilst
Champion Trainer GAI WATERHOUSE has won 6 GOLDEN SLIPPER’S and 4 MAGIC MILLIONS, Gai hasn’t yet put the Blue Diamond Trophy in her Display cabinet but it’s only a matter of time and we are determined to assist her in achieving her goal.
We are delighted to introduce our latest offer in 2015 - A superb yearling bred to be early and bred to be quick.

EXCEED AND EXCEL – About The SIRE
Last month
EXCEED AND EXCEL took his tally of
Gr1 winners into double figures when
FLAMBERGE landed the Darley Goodwood Handicap.
Exceed And Excel this racing season has sired
14 individual Stakes Winners, including recent Gr2 Queensland Guineas winner
Jabali and Listed Winner’s
Burantino and
Mohave.
As a stallion, it’s an impressive resume when we review his latest four (4) Headline Banners about recent Stakes Winners. In descending chronological order:
* Exceed And Excel Colt Burantino Strolls Home in Woodcote Stakes LR (Epsom).
* Jabali Breaks His Maiden when easily winning Gr2 Queensland Guineas
* Second Stakes Win for Mohave
* Tenth Group 1 Winner for Exceed And Excel as FLAMBERGE wins Gr1 Goodwood Hcp 1200m at Morphettville.
In particular,
EXCEED AND EXCEL is a very potent source of brilliant sprinting fillies.

BRILLIANTLY BRED:
Red Fever is a half-sister to:
WAY WEST (c by Danehill (USA)) 2 wins at 2 at 1000, 1100m, $107,890, MRC Blue Diamond Prelude (c&g), Gr3, SAJC Boulevard 2YO P., 2d SAJC Spring Racing at Morphettville H., 3d SAJC Feltex Carpets H., 4th MRC Blue Diamond Preview (c&g) Gr3.
Champion First Crop Sire in South Africa.
She is also a half-sister to this season's exciting South African 2yo:
PROSPECT STRIKE (c by Toreador) Winner at 2 at 1200m in 2014-15, 3d Scottsville Gold Medallion S., Gr1.
Way West is by Danehill (as is Toreador) - clearly a proven nick with Prospect Fever.
RED FEVER is also the half-sister to the dam of Stakes Winner
JUMLAH (f by Catbird – (Danehill)) 2 wins at 2 at 1000m, MRC Blue Diamond Preview (f), L, Starlet 2YO P., 2d MVRC Toy Factory 2YO P.
There are Two (2) Recent Stories in South African Press about PROSPECT STRIKE:
(Story 1) On May 5, Toreador's 2yo son (a half-brother to sire Way West), won on debut by almost 13 lengths over 1200m.
Prospect Strike is bred immaculately, out of the mare Prospect Fever by Mr Prospector. This combination has produced two other full-siblings, both winners by Toreador - Abstract and Portrait.
(Story 2) On May 24,
PROSPECT STRIKE looking for Gr1 Glory at just his second start:
One of the most interestingly bred horses at Saturday’s Scottsville Racecourse "Festival Of Speed" race meeting will be the Dominic Zaki-trained Prospect Strike, who displayed his class on debut when waltzing in by 12.75 lengths over 1200m on the Vaal turf.
He recorded a fast time that day and should be a big threat in Saturday’s Gr 1 Gold Medallion over 1200m at Scottsville.
Zaki said, “His preparation has gone smoothly and he is as fit as a fiddle. I am very happy with him, he is top class.”
The bay gelding was bred by the Tawny Syndicate and is owned by two of this syndicate’s members, Larry Nestadt and Greg Blank, in partnership with Knut Haug.
Nestadt and Blank found his Mr. Prospector dam, Prospect Fever, in Australia and brought her back to South Africa.
Their reasoning was not only that Mr. Prospector mares were hard to come by but that she would also likely be an excellent mating for their Danehill stallion Toreador.
This was partly due to the famous Northern Dancer-Mr. Prospector cross.
Toreador is from the Northern Dancer sire line and Prospect Fever herself, has the Mr Prospector-Northern Dancer cross close up in her pedigree.
Furthermore, Prospect Fever had already produced the Gr3-winning Danehill colt Way West, who became known as a speed influential sire at Summerhill Stud.
Way West won an Australian Gr3 over 1100m as a two-year-old in 2004, beating the now sort after sire Oratorio, so it is not surprising that his three parts brother Prospect Strike is also packed with precocious speed.
Prospect Strike is in fact the third Toreador foal that Prospect Fever has produced, the other pair Abstract and Portrait, won three races between them, all over 1200m.
Toreador’s only Gr1 winner to date was the Dennis Drier-trained Gr1 Gold Medallion winner Link Man. This speedy grey was also bred by the Tawny Syndicate and part-owned by Nestadt and Blank.
Prospect Strike has an unfavourable wide draw whilst Craig Zackey keeps the ride.
Prospect Strike was sold for R425 000 at the 2014 National Yearling Sale.
Gr1 Gold Medallion Race Summary & Result:
A field of nine lined up to contest the 2yo male Speed Championship and the pace was on from the break with Just Africa leading Redcarpet Captain with Muwaary and Seventh Plain keeping in touch.
At the 200m it was race over as Seventh Plain powered away to give jockey Anton Marcus an armchair Gr1 win, beating Gr3 Protea Stakes winner Redcarpet Captain by 2.5 lengths in a time of 1:10.07 secs.
Recent runaway debut winner Prospect Strike only got into top gear when the race was largely a done deal. He changed legs and flew late, to be just a head back in third.

The teams at
Gai Waterhouse Racing and Dynamic Syndications are excited the way this filly has been purposely bred by the breeder John North of Bowness Stud.
We use a rating formula developed to give an understanding of how well bred a thoroughbred horse actually is (or otherwise), as a comparison against the genetic pool of all thoroughbred racehorses. This allows a comparison tool to determine the propensity of the mating to produce a stakes class racehorse when compared to the thoroughbred population as a whole.
So what are the facts that make this rating score in our opinion "SUPERB" ?
PEDIGREE RATING SCORE: " A+ , 673% , Q8 " = Superb
Our Filly has been bred on what is described as the:

These facts are not coincidences.
It's proven that horses bred on this cross, have the genetic capability to be superb racehorses.
However whilst genetics is only one part of the puzzle, it's a vital part, along with conformation and the ability of the trainer amongst other fundamentals that make up vast majority of the whole.
When professional buyers select a yearling, we do so based equally upon: conformation, genetics, commerciality, proven results and then we add into the mix the vital aspect - Australia's Number 1 trainer of 2yo's.
Then the owners of this yearling give themselves every opportunity of racetrack success.
Join us ! 5% Shares in our EXCEED AND EXCEL / RED FEVER Filly are only $6,900 including all the costs we’ve spent up to 31/7/15. Ongoing training fees and costs will average approximately $8.20 per day.
OUR FILLY - at the pre-trainers before heading into Randwick
This filly has been very well educated and has been in and out of the stables twice now as she is prepared to be an early 2yo and aim at the 3 Major 2yo Races.
She has shown Gai Waterhouse that she is a natural, early running individual with good conformation, strength and a willingness to learn and continue to improve and wanting to do more.
