Frankie Dettori were the headline acts on the first day of Royal Ascot with 2 and 3 wins respectively.
Without Parole's victory in the Group 1 St James's Palace Stakes was the highlight for Frankel who also sired Monarch's Glen to win the Listed Wolferton Stakes.
Both were steered home by Frankie Dettori who then added his third winner when the exciting 2yo Calyx, a son of first crop sire Kingman, took his record to 2 from 2 when claiming the Group 2 Coventry Stakes.
The feature Group 1 sprint was the King's Stand Stakes which went the way of Godolphin's Blue Point.
The opening race was the Group 1 Queen Anne Stakes, was won by Accidental Agent at 40-1 who proved too good for his peers.
