Dynamic Syndications outstanding front-running racehorse ARBEITSAM – a son of SNITZEL from the Red Ransom mare WORKHARD -
is progressing well towards the Magic Millions Carnival, where all eyes are on the $1m Magic Millions Cup 1400m.
AREBEITSAM with jet pilot Tim Clark
On Monday morning at Canterbury, Waterhouse & Bott along with several other high-profile stables took horses to Canterbury to gallop on the course proper.
ARBEITSAM was the morning's standout worker. The trackwork report from the stable said:
ARBEITSAM (Sntzel/Workhard) is going super this preparation, he was the best overall this morning at Canterbury and was jockey Tim Clark's standout of his gallops. The gelding worked over 1200m, clocking a time of
10.8 seconds for his final furlong with Tim commenting,
"He is going great. It was a terrific gallop, there was plenty of horse underneath me." The gelding looks to have returned better than ever and he will now head to his first trial this preparation on Thursday at Randwick.
Tim Clark
After trackwork concluded, an excited Tim Clark was on the phone to Dynamic’s Adam Watt to report in on just how good the gallop was:
“It’s like he’s come back 50% better again ! He’s magnificent to look at and he’s so much bigger and stronger. I can’t be happier!”
The inform Gai Waterhouse/ Adrian Bott stables polishes our 4yo gelding and with the stable fresh off a brilliant Victorian Carnival, are the HOTTEST STABLE in Australia.
Gai recently said: “I don’t have a horse going better in my stables than ARBEITSAM. He’s so versatile and very few horses can handle going up and back in distances.
“He’s very good but I really don’t know yet how good because we haven’t got to the bottom of him.” Gai added.
Adrian Bott added: "I'm delighted for the horse and his owners at Dynamic Syndications."
At this stage the plan is for only a light preparation of 3 races before another quick let-up ahead of the Autumn.
Naturally things can and often do change frequently in the racing game, however a tentative race programme for
ARBEITSAM this preparation is to:
Resume in the
Listed ATC RAZOR SHARP 1200m - $125,000 Quality Hcp conditions at Randwick on 16 December.
Then with several options available, the more likely option will be to head to Brisbane to run in a new race named:
QTC THE BUFFERING – $150,000 under Set Weights and Penalties conditions over 1350m on 30 December.
Then peaking 3rd up on the 13th January, we would head into
$1m GCTC MAGIC MILLIONS CUP 1400m – Restricted Listed under Quality Hcp conditions.
ARBEITSAM has a career record of 13 starts: 6-2-3 and $470,150.
