Dynamic Syndications will saddle-up runners across two different states on Saturday with connections hopeful of a top 3 finish to put some important black-type on two very impressive pedigree pages.
Our first runner of the day sees the Dynamic Syndications runner More For Me head to scone for the Listed Woodlands Stakes over 1100m against the 2yo fillies. A highly impressive victory on debut against the boys at Sandown on Saturday the 26th of April earned the More Than Ready filly a float trip to Sydney to contest the Listed event over the Scone Carnival. A daughter of Stakes-Winning Danehill mare LANGNESS and a grand-daughter of Champion Sprinter ISCA, More For Me will be out to maintain the family reputation and in the process hopefully earn some valuable black-type to her impressive pedigree.
More For Me has been in Sydney for the past two weeks and has familiarised herself nicely with the Sydney way of going. She has drawn barrier 8 of 14 and will look to settle just off the pace for boom jockey Chad Schofield. More For Me has done a terrific job in her first racing preparation and if she can figure in the finish on Saturday it will be a great result for a big bunch of owners.
A further 700km up the road our attention will turn later in the day to Race 6 at Doomben where Miss Hufflepuff does battle in the Group 2 XXXX Gold The Roses over 2000m. An impeccably well-bred filly, Miss Hufflepuff is the Full-Sister to Champion Group 1 Stayer of Hong Kong LIBERATOR. A filly that has been a slow maturing type, Miss Hufflepuff resumed with a dominant victory at Newcastle first up over 1500m, before being unlucky in her two recent outings at Randwick and Warwick Farm. After a pleasing gallop on Tuesday morning on the course proper at Rosehill, Miss Hufflepuff made the trip north on Wednesday evening.
Whilst Miss Hufflepuff has gone a long way up in grade, the distance range is finally to her liking and the daughter of Encosta De Lago will relish the 2000m and any sting out of the track, as predicted. A forward showing on Saturday will hopefully have this exciting Dynamic filly primed for the Group 1 Queensland Oaks in a further two weeks time. Nash Rawiller will ride Miss Hufflepuff on Saturday and after being gifted barrier 5, Nash should hopefully be able to give Miss Hufflepuff the run of the race just in behind the speed.
Last but not least for the day is the Dynamic Syndications purchased DANCES ON STARS, a multiple stakes-winner by Snitzel, Dances as he is affectionately known around the stable has amassed over $500,000 in prize money during his 23 start career and will look to go for back-to-back wins after saluting impressively in the Listed Prime Ministers Cup on the Gold Coast at his latest outing.
Racing in stakes company is always difficult, you are taking on the best of the best that is available at the time, we congratulate our Dynamic owners on having a stakes-runner on Saturday and if our fillies could finish in the first 3 and earn some black-type on Saturday it would be a job well done.
