Secret Delight makes it two on the trot
What a win by Dynamic Syndications owned SECRET DELIGHT who relished the wet to win very comfortably at Canterbury on the 6th of June.
Secret Delight produced another victory after her Canterbury win
After being absolutely luckless at Scone at her first start where she missed the kick and never got clear running, we were not about to become despondent because we knew that she was well above average.
This decision to run on a heavy track at Canterbury paid healthy dividends and she was ridden a treat by apprentice jockey Chad Schofield, who managed to get to the lead from barrier one and made every post a winner.
The daughter of DIVINE SECRET has always shown plenty of ability in work, winning 2 trials in impressive fashion before making her debut at Scone and subsequently winning at Canterbury and then Warwick Farm.
At Canterbury, she was never challenged in the straight and Chad was able to completely ease up on her over the final 100 metres with some left in the tank.
It was very rewarding to back her up again in Saturday grade at Warwick Farm when she continued on her winning way, recording our 50th win for the 2011/12 Racing Season.
On this occasion, she was ridden to perfection by in form apprentice Blake Spriggs. The David Payne trained Dynamic galloper stamped herself as a future star and has earned a crack at 3 races in the early Spring namely the Rosebud, Silver Shadow and Golden Rose.
Although she was given little hope with tipsters and the media, we knew she was a winning chance after her easy romp at Canterbury. However we had to do some soul searching as to which way to head with the filly.
Wanting to ensure we were eligible for the nice races in the early Spring, we believed we needed another run at Saturday level and needed to be placed as a minimum . However were in two minds whether to go up to the 1300m or back 250m to the 1000m.
We eventually settled on the 1000m over the 1300m after close consultation with trainer, her track work rider and normal jockey Chad Schofield (who couldn’t take this ride due a suspension) and the stable foreman.
Her win was courageous as the 1000m didn't suit her that well coming back 250m in distance from her previous start victory. However she dug deep and proved her class.
There is nothing more rewarding than when a plan comes off and as they say "an inch is as good as a mile" as SECRET DELIGHT is now off for a short let up before returning to Rosehill to prepare for the 3 races mentioned above.
A big congratulations should go to all the owners of SECRET DELIGHT on their first win and we are hopeful to see her continue on in the future.
Congratulations to the winning owners:
Dynamic Syndications Racing Synd, N Arnold, M Faria, N Fraser, J Keeley, N Loader, G Rassos, F Welk & Dynamic No 25 Synd
A big thank you should also go to Michael Kirwan and Team Coolmore who recommended this filly as one of their top lots at the 2011 Magic Millions Sales on the Gold Coast. A job well done by all!
Dream Choice wins again
Dynamic Syndications galloper DREAM CHOICE scored an emphatic win at Wyong on a bottomless Heavy 10 on Thursday the 14th of June.
Dream Choice did better than his rivals to win at Wyong
Racing in a Class 2 Handicap and up to 1600m for the first time, DREAM CHOICE had been expertly trained to the minute by outstanding horseman David Payne at Rosehill and was rated to perfection by boom young apprentice rider Chad Schofield.
DREAM CHOICE, who had previously shown a dislike for Heavy surfaces, was never under pressure as he secured his second win.
As they straightened, he quickly extended and got half a length in front and at that point, Chad knew he had the race won, so gave Dream Choice an easy time the last 100m.
Despite giving the runner up both age and 3.5 kgs, his class shone through and he recorded an impressive and comfortable victory.
Chad reported to the owners present that “the horse was not totally comfortable in the going and could improve 3-4 lengths on this effort when on top of the ground.”
David Payne has done a wonderful job training the horse and this preparation had him cherry-ripe for this assignment.
Congratulations go to a loyal team of owners who are having a terrific time:
Dynamic Syndications Dream Choice (Mgr: D Watt, Mrs L Bender, B Violentis, I Hannant), Mrs T Georgiou, G Luke, G Harvey, P M Bonilla, J Yianni, J Carter, G Gobby, J Keely & K Syrros.
King Bing Breaks through
Dynamic Syndications galloper KING BING broke through for his maiden win at Muswellbrook on Monday to record Dynamic Syndications 51st win for the season and our 283rd win overall.
King Bing ran over the top of his competitors
King Bing also became Dynamic Syndications 109th Individual Winner from 127 to race (85.8%).
Congratulations to the patient team of owners who believed in their horse and have hung in there through trials and tribulations to secure the win. We hope there are many more to come:
Dynamic Syn (D Watt), Jigsaw 6 Syn (G Mason), No Look Syn (J Andreevski), Mrs A Edwards, Mrs S Merritt, A Bradley, R Carthew, R Lyons, CJR Racing Syn (C Deeb), G Rommell.
Dale Spriggs allowed the Darren Smith trained horse to keep edging forward, getting closer to the leader and stalking it as they approached the turn. Sweeping around the bend 3 deep, Dale balanced King Bing and then attacked.
It became a two horse war down the running with King Bing on the outside and the heavily backed second favourite Full Turn refusing to yield on the inside. However slowly and surely, King Bing gained superiority and drew clear to score by half a length x three quarters.
Dynamic had another runner in the race, Crack A Smile who ran on well from mid-field to run fourth. Crack A Smile wore the Red Cap whilst King Bing wore a White Cap as seen in the video above.
On a Dead 5 rated surface he was far more comfortable and Dale Spriggs who was on him last start told connections the horse was comfortable at this distance on a firm surface.
He advised he was a happy horse today and travelled well throughout and was able to settle better in the run instead of wanting to over race early.
Congratulations to our owners. Your win was well deserved.
Liberator wins Dynamic Gr 1
What can be the most satisfying aspect of this industry is that regularly, due diligence is rewarded with significant financial gain.
Yet another example of this was on the 27th of May and this is when Dynamic Syndications knew they had hit the jackpot.
LIBERATOR won the Standard & Chartered CHAMPIONS & CHARTER CUP - A feature Gr1 Weight For Age 2400m race at Sha Tin and the third leg of the Hong Kong triple crown.
Liberator Wins the Gr1 Champions and Chater in Dynamic fashion
At the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sales on 11 April 2012, Lot 286, an ENCOSTA DE LAGO filly from the Irish Stakes Winning 2yo MISS HELGA, was offered by COOLMORE STUD, the full sister to LIBERATOR.
Basically we knew that genetically, ENCOSTA DE LAGO when mated over a mare by ALZAO (Fairy King - Northern Dancer line) has a far greater opportunity to produce a Stakes Class racehorse than a mating by almost all other sires.
Dynamic purchased MISS HELGA'S 5th foal - a daughter by ENCOSTA DE LAGO for $125,000 + GST whilst her previous foals sold for $625,000, $200,000, $360,000 and $140,000 all of whom were bred to ENCOSTA.
Our own Encosta De Lago - Miss Helga filly (Full sister to Liberator)
The first was the quality race filly PINK SIRIS - A Winner of and Stakes Placed 2nd in a Listed Race. The second foal was tragically lost in a paddock accident. Her third foal is LIBERATOR - now a Gr1 winner & Gr3 placed. LIBERATOR.
What is really satisfying, we believed the mating cross to be exceptional, however when we purchased our filly, LIBERATOR had won 3 races.
The horse has run 3 times since we purchased his full Sister. At his first run, he won over 1600m. Then he was the best of good things beaten when a desperately unlucky 2nd in the Gr3 Queen Mother's Coronation Cup 2000m.
The following run LIBERATOR became a Gr1 winner to go with his Gr3 placing and is now a winner of 5 races and over $7,769,700 HKD prizemoney.
To give a further explanation of the class and grade of this Gr1 WFA race, 1 of the runners he beat home in this event have previously gone on to contest the Melbourne Cup in Mr Medici. Whilst Dominant had won the Gr3 Queen Mother's Cup last start and HK horse of the year, Ambitious Dragon was the favourite but was well beaten.
Our filly has the conformation and pedigree to be a success both on and off the racetrack and now the cross is proven so the future is incredible strong for this filly.
We also congratulate, Tom Magnier, Michael Kirwin, Peter O'Brien and all the team at COOLMORE for their foresight in buying and only mating MISS HELGA to ENCOSTA DE LAGO and also Michael Kirwin and Colm Santry for their pre-sale advice and information about LIBERATOR.
Shane Rose announced in the Olympic team
Shane Rose, Bimbadeen Park manager and Dynamic Syndications man in charge of breaking in and education has been announced as part of the Australian equestrian team to take part in the London Games next month.
Dynamic's own Shane Rose is off to another Olympics
Shane, who will join Beijing teammates Lucinda and Clayton Fredericks, newcomer Chris Burton and six time Olympian Andrew Hoy, is the ultimate professional and is regarded as one of the best horseman in Australia.
Shane will partner up with his horse Taurus, whom he rode to victory in the Sydney International earlier in the year, to take on the rest of the world at the Olympics.
Rose, who has had a long association with Dean and Dynamic is already an Olympic medalist after he finished with silver at the 2008 Beijing Games but this time he will look to go one better.
Shane has the responsibility of breaking in all our yearlings and educating them before they head to pre-training and eventually on to their trainer.
He is one of the most vital members of Team Dynamic and he and his team know the importance of quality early education in a horse’s life.
Shane will be looking to add a gold medal to his cabinet
This season, Shane and his team have been responsible for the education of all our yearlings and they have broken in superbly and are handling everything that is thrown at them.
We will be watching on very closely from our offices here in Sydney and we wish Shane all the best with his travels and competition in London.
We hope Shane can return home with Olympic Gold around his neck.
Dynamic raises the bat as it chalks up a half century
Secret Delight’s impressive win on Saturday the 23rd of June at Warwick Farm marked another big milestone for Team Dynamic as we managed to achieve our 50th win for the season.
It has long been an aim for Dynamic that, as soon as we had enough horses for it to become plausible, a realistic target would be a winner a week over the 52 week year.
Since Up ‘N’ Doing won our first race in October of 2005, Dynamic Syndications has averaged MORE than a Winner a Week - Every Week - For the past 4 years.
As well as Secret Delight’s second consecutive city win on the weekend, there have been a number of brilliant highlights in the 2011/12 season.
Atomic Force became a dual Group 1 winner in Dynamic colours having won the Gr1 Galaxy Stakes at Randwick last season, this season he won the Gr1 Railway Stakes in New Zealand.
Also, Dynamic purchase Dances on Stars became a stakes winner when he won the Kindergarten Stakes and has had multiple other stakes placings.
Other notable performances were Platamone Castle winning numerous metropolitan races for Mick Price on behalf of Dynamic and Midnight at Ascot stringing together back to back wins and being stakes placed.
Platamone Castle had a great season
We expect this trend to continue into next year with our current crop of yearlings and some of our 2yos now starting to develop into nice horses.
Atomic Force aims for Patinack Classic
Dynamic Syndications outstanding sprinter ATOMIC FORCE has been back in work several weeks now and continues to take shape as we head towards the start of the Spring Carnival.
The Dual Group 1 Winning Sprinter had a stellar time when previously in work, winning 6 races from 18 starts over a 14 month preparation. Included amongst these victories were:
a Benchmark 95, a Welter, 2 x Listed Races: Maurice McCarten and The Heath and then 2 x Group 1 Races: The Galaxy and the NZ Railway.
Added amongst the victories were these placings: a 2nd in the Group 1 NZ Telegraph, 2nd in the Group 2 Victory Stakes, 3rd in the Group 3 McEwen, 3rd in the Starlight Stakes LR, 3rd in the Magic Millions Sprint and 4th in the Group 3 Sebring Stakes.
Darren Smith has had the horse for 24 starts in total and Darren’s record with Atomic Force is unbelievable ! 24 starts: 9 Wins, 5 seconds, 4 thirds, 3 fourths and earnings of $824,203.
Prior to being transferred to Darren Smith his earnings were: 13 starts: 2 wins, 2 seconds, 3 thirds, 0 fourths, 3 fifths & $82,650.
This preparation ATOMIC FORCE will be targeting the Gr1 Patinack Classic on 10 November as his Grand Final. It won’t be an easy assignment with BLACK CAVIAR aiming for the same race and several international sprinters coming down to run in the race as well.
Atomic Force has a likely clash with Black Caviar in the Spring
ATOMIC FORCE after his NZ runs returned to Australia to prepare for a shot at the Gr1 Kris Flyer in Singapore and then head to Royal Ascot for the Kings Stand however he suffered a setback and the trip had to be aborted due to a slight injury. So we cancelled that trip and gave the horse a well-deserved full 3 month spell.
This has proven to be a blessing as he appears bigger and stronger than ever before. In fact, now he has fully matured, we believe this is the best and strongest we have ever had ATOMIC FORCE in appearance, health and also being totally injury free.
ATOMIC FORCE is planned to have a very soft trial in mid July and again in early August (weather permitting) before heading to Melbourne accompanied by Darren’s traveling foreman and track rider Shane Treweek.
At this early stage, he will most likely resume on 25 August at Moonee Valley in a Listed Race over 1000m under SW&P conditions. After that, there are several ways to progress towards the Patinack Classic dependent upon how Atomic Force is handling his workload.
He is basically being restricted to WFA and SW&P races now because in the Qualities and Handicaps, he attracts far too much weight as a Dual Group 1 Winner.
At this early stage, whilst every aspect of the preparation remains totally flexible, the likely programme Atomic Force may follow is:
Trial 17/7 at Rosehill
Trial 3/8 at Rosehill
12/8 Travel to Melbourne
25/8 Moonee Valley Plate 1000m SW&P Listed.
(Or alternatively)
1/9 Caulfield The Heath 1100m SW&P Listed
15/9 Moonee Valley McEwen 1000m WFA Group 3
6/10 Flemington Gilgai 1200m SW&P Group 2
20/10 Caulfield Sprint 1100m HCP Group 2
(Or alternatively - dependent upon what weight he is given)
26/10 Moonee Valley Manikato 1200m WFA Group 1
6/11 Flemington Patinack Classic 1200m WFA Group 1
We wish our owners the very best of continued good fortune with ATOMIC FORCE in his upcoming preparation:
Dynamic Syndications Atomic Syndicate (Mgr Dean Watt & Jim Godwin), Myles Henke, Steve McCrea, Mrs Sharon McCrea, Marcus Pearce, Angus Keith, Mrs Cindy Chiverton, Steve Mazzeo, New Horizons Syndicate (Nick & Christine Coulter) & Peter Bennett.
Adam Watt Represents Dynamic at Royal Ascot
Dynamic Syndications asked our representative Adam Watt to fly the Aussie flag (quite literally) and show our support for Black Caviar, Peter Moody and the team at Royal Ascot in June.
Adam was waving both the Dynamic and Aussie flag at Royal Ascot
We had heard the “party-like” atmosphere that Ascot produces every year is something that needs to be seen to be believed so we asked Adam to take some photos for us.
Although Black Caviar's heroic win will go down in history other highlights over the carnival included; the highest rated horse in the world, FRANKEL winning by 11 lengths, LITTLE BRIDGE ridden by ZAC PURTON winning the Kings Stand and the Queen's horse winning on day 4.
Also, we saw that he was caught on camera several times and popped up on TV on numerous media outlets both here in Australia and in the UK.
Adam caught up with Europe's leading trainer, Aidan O'Brien
We thank Adam for representing Dynamic Syndications at Royal Ascot and it looked like a lot of hard work over there as well as some well deserved downtime as well.
Chris Waller wraps up the Sydney premiership
Chris Waller has tightened his grip on the Sydney training premiership extending his lead to 17.5 wins with little time remaining.
This stellar run of form is good news for Dynamic with Chris set to take at least 4 of our yearlings for next year’s season on the back of what looks to be his second Sydney training premiership in a row.
Chris has continued to excel at his Rosehill stables since he first arrived on Australian shores from New Zealand in 2000.
Chris keeps producing winners including a number of training trebles in recent weeks
Chris has now trained a total of 113.5 Sydney Metropolitan Winners for the season, only 3.5 wins behind his winning figure from last year of 117 wins.
Australia wide, Chris Waller leads the Metropolitan Winners List with a Total of 120.5 wins - in front of Peter Snowden & Gai Waterhouse locked together on 102 Metropolitan Wins and Peter Moody with 100 Metropolitan Wins
With Chris in this sort of form, and his closest rival in Sydney currently away on holiday, this lead looks virtually unassailable.
Chris is also looking to produce a rare training double as he is closing in on the NSW training premiership as well.
Chris sits only 0.5 of a win back on 147.5 winners in second with less than a month left in the season.
The NSW/Sydney Premiership double does not come around in racing too often and is something that all trainers strive to achieve yet very rarely do.
Chris is over 47.5 wins clear of the trainer in 3rd place with a further 24 wins to the 4th place holder at this current time which really shows his dominance considering his current lead in Metropolitan meetings.
With Chris in great training form, and his horses seemingly performing stronger on the track than that of his rivals, it would not be surprising to see Chris open up a lead come the end of the week.
Chris currently has 12 horses that are owned and raced by Dynamic Syndications and its clients with the vast majority of them being yearlings and 2yos.
Chris has 12 horses currently with Dynamic
Dynamic Syndications only select the best trainers to give our owners every chance of race track success once our horses get to the races.
We wish all the Dynamic trainers the best of luck coming to the end of the season and hope to see them continue to train winners both this season and well into the future.
Peter Moody’s Brilliant Brissy carnival
Peter Moody had a stellar month not only heading over to the UK and winning despite almost everything going wrong with his wonder mare, Black Caviar but he produced a number of stakes winners here in Australia.
The week prior to leaving for the England, Peter produced a brilliant training feat by training 2 Gr1 winners and a Gr2 winner on the same card during the Brisbane Carnival.
Peter Moody enjoyed a brilliant month
The majority of horse trainers go through their whole career and never get close to winning a Gr1 so to produce 2 in one day is an unbelievable effort.
Moody’s wonderful day started in the Group 1 QLD Derby when Brambles saluted in impressive style comfortably beating home his rivals.
However, he was by no means done there with barely enough time passing for his owners to collect their trophy, before he was back in the winner’s circle when Mid Summer Music won Brisbane’s most prestigious race, The Stradbroke Handicap at big odds.
This brought Peter to the top of the Group 1 trainer’s title for the second year in a row with an astonishing 10 Gr1 wins for the season.
To put the cherry on top of a perfect day, Moody came out and trained the winner of the last, the Gr2 Brisbane Cup, to make it three winners in a row when Lights of Heaven smashed its rivals winning by 3 lengths.
Earlier in the month, Moody notched his 1600th career win. He has trained 174 winners in Victoria alone at a strike rate of over 20% with numerous other wins in Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide to bring him to 193, just shy of the magical 200 mark.
Peter and Dean have developed a close relationship over the years and have had plenty of success including winning the Gr1 Blue Diamond in 2009 with REWARD FOR EFFORT.
We have another two high quality yearlings this year which are currently up for syndication and are to be trained by Peter Moody, Exceed and Excel/Shoot the Stars colt and a Northern Meteor/Comedy Club filly.
Peter with our Northern Meteor - Comedy Club filly
We congratulate Peter on a wonderful year and encourage you to join both Peter and Dynamic in our quest for more Gr1 Glory.
Peter Moody’s Black Caviar at Royal Ascot
Peter Moody has returned after his successful trip to Ascot with Black Caviar, albeit by a narrow margin, to get ready for the Melbourne Spring Carnival.
Although many experts had hoped Black Caviar would come out and blitz her field, she was unfortunately injured in running however was still classy enough to get the job done.
Peter Moody with his wonder mare, Black Caviar
Peter and his team that went over to Ascot were unfairly criticised following the superstar Mare’s narrow win in England when she took on the best that Europe has to offer.
Peter had always stated that the aim was to take Black Caviar over to win and he was never concerned about margins so all in all, the trip must be viewed as a success.
Black Caviar’s record now stands at 22 starts for 22 victories, an absolutely amazing achievement and something that not just Peter, but all of Australia is rightfully proud of.
She is currently recovering and letting her injuries heal in a quarantine facility in England before returning to Australia possibly for an assault at the Melbourne Spring Carnival.
The Queen presented Peter Moody and Luke Nolen their trophey's after the win
We hope to see Black Caviar back on track soon and we congratulate her and Peter on this wonderful achievement at Royal Ascot.
Fastnet Rock keeps producing
There is a reason that this boom sire is being called Australasia’s number one sire as he seems to be producing racetrack success all over the region.
The Fastnet Rock mare, Speed Baby, returned to her racing home in Malaysia last month winning the Piala Emas Sultan Selangor Mal at Group 1 level.
Speed Baby, the daughter of Fastnet Rock, won yet another Gr1
In recent time, Speed Baby relocated to Singapore after winning 6 of its first 8 starts in Malaysia including the 3yo Gr1 Mal - Perak Coronation Cup by an amazing 8 lengths.
During his time in Singapore, Speed Baby managed to win the Gr 1 Patrons Bowl to go with a host of other placings in Black Type events.
However it was decided that the son of Fastnet Rock would return home where he made light work of his top weight of 59 kg to win the 2000 metre feature by the best part of three lengths.
This is the third Gr1 victory for Speed Baby in only 22 starts with more Gr1 success seemingly round the corner.
Fastnet Rock, who will stand at Coolmore Stud for $220,000 next year, has gone from strength to strength managing to produce 16 individual stakes winners in Australia along with numerous other stakes winners in other countries.
A fee of $220,000 for next year makes him the most expensive stallion in the country. We are currently syndicating a Fastnet Rock out of the city winner in Jewel of the Nile for just $15,250 for a 10% share.
Our Fastnet Rock - Jewel of the Nile filly
To get a Fastnet for this price is virtually unimaginable due to the results he is producing on the track and the money he is fetching in the ring.
This may just be your opportunity at Group 1 Glory for a more than affordable price.
This is a family littered with black type performances and has plenty of potential with the dam, Jewel of the Nile, producing a full sister to our filly, Pearl of the Sea, who was a Sydney winner and also placed 4th in the Gr1 Champagne Stakes.
There are only limited shares left in this filly and you will have to get in quick to make sure you secure your own share in this athletic filly.
With 10 individual Gr1 winners in Australia alone this season, your chance of racetrack success with a Fastnet filly are excellent. Combined with Dynamic’s due diligence and careful selection process, it is investment not to be missed.
Dean Watt interviews online
A series of interviews with Managing Director Dean Watt are now online and available for your viewing pleasure on Dynamic TV.
Dynamic TV is a new feature on our brand new State of the Art website which launched officially on the 1st June 2012.
Dean's interviews can be now found on Dynamic TV
There are 3 separate interviews conducted with Dean and can be found under the General Videos and Dynamic Auction Process tabs in Dynamic TV.
The first of these interviews is Dean giving an insight to the new website and informs you all about the different features and how they were specially designed to benefit you as a user.

New Website online
Visitors to the
www.dynamicsyndications.com.au page will immediately realise that we have launched a totally new look website.
Our original website was launched in 2004 where it was at the forefront of website development. However due to the rapidly expanding technology, it slowly became out-dated.
There is a number of new and updated sections of our website
Our Dynamic TV programmes include what was involved in launching this new State-Of-The-Art, interactive information hub for our clients and visitors.
In the Menu Bar on the DYNAMIC TV page, there are numerous channels each with access to host up to 8 short programmes relevant to that Channel at anytime.
We encourage you to review these programmes at your leisure and continue coming back to each Channel on a regular basis as the programmes will be Dynamic and Change regularly.
The new website, especially when it comes to speed and ease of navigation, promises to enhance your experience.
It’s been designed to be significantly faster, easier to navigate and interactive.
Specifically, we developed a new area that will grow into a major traffic hub –
Dynamic TV.
Dynamic TV is one of the new, exciting features on the website
It is hoped that as we progress through the initial stages of the website launch, many aspects of written reports will be superseded by either Television style reporting or by audio reports. This will increase interactive experience in racehorse ownership.
It’s an exciting new frontier and we hope our website will remain at the forefront of the technology wave.
In May 2011, Dynamic Syndications engaged an IT company to build us a site different to any standard sites and for the thoroughbred industry, be refreshingly new.
Through several design changes and many technical development issues, we delivered a website that is considered by IT Developers as State-Of-The-Art.
Jay Mathieson has taken up the challenge and embraced the new media and will become the face of Dynamic Syndications Media.
Any feedback to aspects that you like, dislike or alternatively would like to see added to the site that would be appreciated. We can review comments and make changes where required.

EXCEED AND EXCEL x SHOOT THE STARS colt – Trained by PETER MOODY
An awesome colt that both Dean Watt and Peter Moody agreed upon as the best colt they have seen by Exceed and Excel since the day Dean purchased Group 1 winner Reward For Effort from the exact same sale ground in 2008. This colt is bred on the same cross as Exceed and Excel’s other Group 1 Winning Son Helmet and comes from a commercial Australian family with a host of black-type saturated throughout the pedigree page.
We believe this colt offers the full package, he has 2yo speed, 3yo classics and 4yo time honoured written all over him, he could potentially turn out to be a valuable stallion prospect.
The full sister Buratti is currently being trained by David Hayes and is progressing through the grades nicely currently having 9 starts for 2 wins and 5 placings. David obviously has quite an opinion of his filly as he has the underbider that pushed us all the way when we purchased this athletic colt.

ENCOSTA DE LAGO x MISS HELGA filly – Trained by CHRIS WALLER
A Dam that keeps producing mated too a Sire who continues to perform at stud = A DYNAMIC COMBINATION. Champion racehorse and sire, Encosta De Lago has gone back to Stakes winning Irish mare, Miss Helga yet again to produce another cracking filly, that is now safely in Dynamic hands. Miss Helga has produced 2 horses to race, (which are both full relations to our lovely filly), for 2 winners including the Stakes placed winner Pink Siris and emerging Hong Kong superstar Liberator, who impressively WON the Group 1, Standard Chartered Champions & Chater Cup beating previous Melbourne Cup runners Mr Medici as well as Hong Kong Horse of the Year, Ambitious Dragon and ran 2nd in the Group 3 Queen Mother Memorial Cup.
These victories already assure that her breeding value has sky rocketed even before she gets to the race track. We are confident that we have found a wonderful type of filly and looks a magnificent type. Since purchasing the filly, the full brother has had 3 starts for a win at 1600m, a 2nd in Gr3 company at 2000m and a Gr1 WIN at 2400m. If we had tried to purchase her after these 3 races, her price could have at least tripled !
For the first 5 years Miss Helga had only been mated to Encosta De Lago based upon the fact that Coolmore Stud whom own the mare acknowledges this is the best mating cross for the mare. 4 lots have sold with this exact cross fetching prices of $625,000, Passed at $140,000 with a reserve $200,000, $360,000 and $140,000 before we managed to snap up our filly for the bargain base price of $125,000. Our filly was bred on the immediate ENCOSTA DE LAGO / ALZAO cross which has already produced Stakes Winners DELZAO, EMLOZZA and now LIBERATOR !

MAGIC ALBERT x BADINOV’S BABE colt – Trained by CHRIS WALLER
From a mare that is doing the job at stud, our colt is a half-brother to three individual stakes-winners, the mare has had 6 foals to race for 5 winners, her winning progeny have won a combined total of 32 races between them. We bought this colt to target the black-type races as a 3yo, with the opinion that he will be even better as a older horse 4yo/5yo. Chris Waller has had an affinity with the Magic Albert breed in recent times and we believe his patient training style will allow this colt to develop into a super 3yo.

Inglis sale changes
Leading racing auction house, Inglis, has announced big changes this week with the Sydney Classic Yearling Sale being split into two books, a summer and a winter session for 2013.
The summer book will occur over two days on the 20th and 21st of January with the winter book occurring on the 23rd of June both at the Newmarket complex in Sydney.
The Inglis Classic Sale will be split into 2 books next year
Inglis Bloodstock Director Jonathan D’Arcy suggested that it would be a move that would help everyone, especially syndicators like Dynamic who always have a very busy start to the New Year.
“The Winter Book will give vendors a viable alternative to market those yearlings that might not be suited to an early sale, and others that are withdrawn from earlier select sales for various reasons.” D’Arcy explained to the Inglis website.
“Buyers, especially syndicators, have encouraged us to have a later sale in Sydney to more evenly spread the flow of yearlings onto the market, and to provide them with a product to syndicate in the second half of each year.”
One of the other initiatives announced by Inglis is the introduction of a “Blue Riband” Session to the Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale in an attempt to complement the growth of the sale.
Inglis will add a Blue Riband section to their Melbourne Sale
Inglis will offer the opportunity to no more than 60 yearlings that have the right credentials bred to excel over middle and staying distances.
These yearlings will be offered in what is hence forth to be known as the “Blue Riband” Session which will occur within the thriving first session.
This session will be conducted over four days from March 4 to 7 at Oaklands next year and has already received wide support.
Inglis will also be supporting the buyers of the middle distance and staying type yearling with discussions already underway with race clubs to increase the number of 1600m to 2400m events in the $5million Inglis Race Series.
This is good news for Dynamic owners with the opportunity for more prize money due to the Inglis bonus series ending up in their pockets.
Dynamic has always been a big supporter of Inglis and we look forward to buying plenty more quality yearlings both next year and in years to come.
Dynamic horses go to new homes
Dynamic Syndications have on sold 4 horses in the sale yard at the 2012 Magic Millions National Broodmare Select Sale on the Gold Coast.
Acouplamas was eventually sold to Widden Stud after a bidding war between two of racing’s biggest stud’s.
Acouplamas, seen here winning at Kembla, has been sold
Barramul and Widden went hammer and tongs for her, the latter eventually winning out and was able to purchase Acouplamas for $42,000.
Miss Chaqueta was then sold to Emirates Park for the sum of $50,000.
This 3yo bay filly has been struck down with many injury problems in her short career to date and the decision was made to sell at the Magic Millions sale.
Once again, Gerry Harvey's Baramul Stud were the unlucky under bidder's on this filly who could still have a career in front of her if she is able to get a little bit of luck. She went to Emirates Park Stud.
The final one of our girls to go through the sale ring was She’s a Rock Star.
She was eventually purchased by Raheen Stud which is located in Darling Downs area of outback Queensland and fetched $35,000. Dynamic have purchased Stakes Winners ATOMIC FORCE and TENANT'S TIARA from Raheen Stud.
The final lot that we sold at the sales was previous city winner Triumphant Choice.
In the last week of the month we also had 2 horses sold through the Inglis Sale Yards in Sydney at their Weanling and Broodmare sale.
Noble Edict was sold on to K Harris in Victoria after a great run with Dynamic. Noble Edict won just shy of $250,000 whilst under the management of Dynamic including a number of city victories.
Noble Edict, now a 7yo, has also been sold
Now a 7yo, the bay gelding was purchased for $4,500 after some injury concerns in the later part of his Dynamic career and we hope he has found a loving new home.
Crack a Smile was also sold for $5,500 with his hoof firmly placed on the till. The buyer was recorded to be trainer J Manzelmann in QLD and he purchased him for $3,000 above the median price of the sale.
Crack a Smile is another horse that has been plagued by injury but now a 4yo, he has seemed to overcome some of his problems and looks to be on the verge of breaking through
We also sold on two horses privately in Itchy Tiger and Boulevard Baron which will continue their racing careers elsewhere.
We wish all the best of luck to the new owners and we thank all the previous owners for becoming part of the Dynamic Team.
We are confident these horses are happy at their new respective homes and we wish them the best of luck in whatever capacity they continue in.
