On Tuesday 4/8/15, the nominations were released for several Spring feature Gr1 races in Melbourne:
COX PLATE, CAULFIELD CUP, CAULFIELD GUINEAS (c&g) and THOUSAND GUINEAS (f).
Astute Dynamic Syndication Owners will be following several of these horses nominated for these events very closely in their lead-up race programmes as those horses progress towards their Grand-Final day.
Horses we will be following more closely than others are:
PAYROLL, I’LL TAKE THE JAG, AROD and PETROLOGY.
Our SNITZEL ex WORKHARD Colt with GAI WATERHOUSE
Firstly, clients of
Dynamic Syndications and Gai Waterhouse whom have already grabbed a share in our latest syndication to be released –
a Colt by SNITZEL ex WORKHARD (by Red Ransom) for $10,950 a share, will be watching the progress of our colt’s very promising 3/4 sister
PAYROLL (by Not A Single Doubt).
Trained by
Richard Laming, PAYROLL is the first foal from the mare WORKHARD (our colt is the dam’s second foal). She was an easy debut winner at 2 and then ran 2d MRC Redoute's Choice S., LR, a race that she clearly should have won but jockey error cost her victory.
PAYROLL wining on debut
The stable has a huge opinion of
PAYROLL to such an extent that she was nominated for feature races -
THOUSAND GUINEAS #168, CAULFIELD CLASSIC #343 and the COX PLATE #112.
Our next team of clients who are owners of our filly by
EXCEED AND EXCEL ex RED FEVER (by Red Ransom) have been made aware of and are delighted in the progress of this season’s Northern Hemisphere rising star
AROD.
AROD
AROD has been nominated for the COX PLATE #11.
AROD (c by Teofilo) 11 Starts:
4 wins 1m to 1¼m, £504,258, to 2015, Ascot Summer Mile S.,
Gr2, Epsom Diomed S.,
Gr3, 2d Goodwood Sussex S.,
Gr1, York Dante S.,
Gr2, Newmarket Earl of Sefton S.,
Gr3, 3d Newbury Lockinge S.,
Gr1, 4th The Derby,
Gr1.
Since we have purchased our filly as a yearling,
AROD has started in 5 races this season in England. He won the Gr2 Summer Mile S., Gr3 Epsom Diomed Stakes, ran 2nd in the Gr1 Sussex Stakes, 2nd Newmarket Earl of Sefton S., Gr3, 3rd Newbury Lockinge S., Gr1.
For our astute Dynamic Syndication Owners whom have already taken up 19 of the 20 shares in our current syndication, they will be heartened that AROD connections are looking at the MVRC WS Cox Plate. Trainer Peter Chapple-Hyam advised the English press that the Qatar Racing-owned AROD is improving and "Australia (Cox Plate) is the target for owner Sheikh Fahad.”
AROD now safely appears in the catalogue pedigree page of our filly however such is the depth of quality of the female family with 103 Stakes Horses in the pedigree, that the problem for the stud book and catalogue producers has become which Black Type horse’s do they leave out to find room for AROD to make it into the page ?
Our filly’s 3rd Dam is
ANNOCONNOR – the 3 time Gr1 winner and half-sister to
AT TALAQ. She is also a half-sister to
PATTIMACH (Dam of
SW FAR LANE and
Grand-dam of AROD).
So naturally it’s exciting for owners of well-bred fillies, purchased as gilt-edged investments, to have an opportunity to have a Cox Plate winner jump into the pedigree page and therefore add significant commercial value to the female family.
EXCEED AND EXCEL ex RED FEVER FILLY
Dynamic Syndications have just 1 x 5% Share remaining in our Exceed And Excel Red Fever Filly at $6,900 per share.
Our third team of
astute Dynamic Syndications clients whom have expressed a desire to be owners of our
MORE THAN READY ex AQUA D’AMORE Filly.
This filly is the
1st Daughter of Champion mare AQUA D’AMORE (by Danehill).
AQUA D'AMORE
She was a Gr1, Gr2 and Gr3 winner of 9 races from 1200m – 2400m and was Gr1 performed on another 8 occasions.
AQUA D’AMORE is a 3/4 sister to PETROLOGY.
PETROLOGY
PETROLOGY has been nominated for the COX PLATE #114
PETROLOGY – a Gr2 and Listed Winner resumed last Saturday with an eye-catching 3rd over the short trip of the MRC Bletchingly Stakes Gr3.
His career is now: 3 wins–1 at 2– 1200 to 1800m, $379,800, to 2014-15, MRC Sandown Guineas, Gr2, VRC TCL S., L, MRC (Mornington) A Positive Move H., 2d MRC Manfred S., Gr3, Redoute's Choice S., L, Mindy Green 2YO P., 3d MRC Bletchingly S., Gr3
Trainers David Hayes and Tom Dabernig believe they have an A-grader in the stable in PETROLOGY. Dabernig said Petrology had always shown the potential to be a top-liner, including last spring when he won the Connoisseur Stakes and the Sandown Guineas. As a 2yo Petrology started in 3 races, winning on debut over 1200m before finishing runner-up in a 1200m Handicap at Caulfield to Pressing and then running second again to Pressing in the Redoute’s Choice S., 1200m at Listed Race level.
As a 3yo he has raced on 10 occasions. He had 6 starts in the spring which culminated in back-to-back Stakes Wins taking out the Connoisseur Stakes Listed Race over 1800m at Flemington before dropping back a furlong at his next start to win the Sandown Guineas Group 2 at 1600m.
Petrology had just three starts in the autumn with an excellent first-up effort when a fast finishing second place in the Group 3 Manfred Stakes.
The Bletchingly Stakes was a nice lead-up race for him to get him going for the spring.
Dabernig said the Group 1 Memsie Stakes (1400m) on August 29 at Caulfield was one of their targets as they head towards the COX PLATE.
MORE THAN READY ex AQUA D'AMORE Filly with GAI WATERHOUSE
Dynamic Syndications are ready to launch our latest promotion with GAI – a MORE THAN READY filly from the Champion Mare AQUA D’AMORE. Incredibly our filly is the sixth foal from AQUA D’AMORE but very importantly, she is the first daughter of AQUA D’AMORE.
Our filly is a gilt-edged investment. By a multiple times Champion Sire from a Champion mare and the mare is the 3/4 to PETROLOGY.
She has the opportunity to become a “Blue Hen” status mare in the future, so her residual value will make her highly sought after upon racetrack retirement.
Another rising star that the
team at Dynamic Syndications will be keeping our eye upon is the John Sargent trained
I’LL TAKE THE JAG (by High Chaparral ex Nobentleyforme). This colt has had a boom on him for some time now and he went to the races for his debut recently and won very impressively at Canterbury.
SNITZEL ex TYCOON JOY Colt with GERALD RYAN
He is very closely related to our current offer – a
colt by SNITZEL ex TYCOON JOY (by Last Tycoon) with trainer GERALD RYAN for $8,950 a share (70% Sold).
I'LL TAKE THE JAG
I’LL TAKE THE JAG has been nominated for the COX PLATE #72 and for the CAULFIELD CUP #89.
I’LL TAKE THE JAG is from the first foal for the mare NOBENTLEYFORME.
NOBENTLEYFORME is by Fastnet Rock from TYCOON JOY.
BENTLEY BISCUIT
Therefore that makes
our colt the 3/4 brother NOBENTLYFORME
and a 1/2 sister to BENTLEY BISCUIT.
In conjunction with Gerald Ryan, Dynamic Syndications purchased our colt to be aimed towards similar races next season that
I’LL TAKE THE JAG is being aimed at this season.
From a magical family, should
I’LL TAKE THE JAG live up to his reputation and be a star in the Spring and add Gr1 success to his resume then our colt’s pedigree will raise in commercial value significantly and cement our belief that our colt has the commercial appeal to be a stallion prospect if he acquires black-type success.
