The best backed horse around Australia on Friday duly saluted when Dynamic Syndications IBINI led from barrier to post to claim Race 3 at Coffs Harbour the BOB CHAMBERS P/L 3YO Maiden Plate over 1210m on a Soft 6 surface.

Facing the starter at just his second career start and first-up after a spell today,
IBINI lived up to the hype around him and was never in danger when scoring.
Ridden well and
rated to perfection by Chad Lever, IBINI was attacked all the way in the run but was simply too strong and too good and never under pressure.

Dynamic Syndications for the past two seasons has been a Corporate Partner and Player Sponsor of A-League club SYDNEY FC.
IBINI is named after former Sydney FC player Bernie Ibini who we sponsored in their Premiership winning 2016-17 season.

IBINI had put the writing on the wall with an excellent trial as a Maiden to win in an open company trial at Newcastle back on the 24th April.
However it was his trackwork last Saturday when he galloped on the course proper at Newcastle between races, as the workmate of Gr1 Winner IN HER TIME. The work was super and that said the horse couldn’t get beaten as it proved to be.
Every other runner had their chance but simply weren’t good enough.
Connections were extremely confident that
IBINI would get the chocolates in this event and the horse opened at $5.50 and was backed into $2.80.
IBINI has much stronger grade race wins in front of him however it was decided to send him up the line to give him the experience of a trip away and an easy victory, teaching him to win before stepping up in stronger company.
Being a BOBS eligible horse IBINI won the $11,085 first prize plus picked up the $5,000 BOBS Bonus as well. So $16,085 for what was not much harder than a barrier trial, was a nice way to start this preparation.
IBINI - laughing all the way
Also there is little doubt that
IBINI will be better suited as the distances increase.
IBINI ($2.80) scored by 1 length over Anchois ($2.40) with 0.2 lengths back to Spanish Steps ($8.50) in third.
Those listening to
Sky’s Big Sports Breakfast radio this morning would have heard
TAB Media Manager Glenn Munsie tell listeners that
“IBINI the Ben Smith trained Dynamic Syndications runner has been the Best Backed around Australia this morning.”
On debut
IBINI started over 1400m when finishing 3rd by 1.9 lengths.
Trainer BENJAMIN (Ben) SMITH (aka Tommy) with another Dynamic Winner - I AM SPECIAL
He was spelled and sent straight to
outstanding young Newcastle trainer Ben Smith along with several other Dynamic horses.
It’s proved to be a sensational decision by Team Dynamic to relocate horses to Ben Smith at Newcastle.
The win by IBINI today was the 3rd winner from 5 starters for the Dynamic Duo with genuine excuses for our other two. Ben has trained CHILCOTIN, I AM SPECIAL and now IBINI to win for Team Dynamic.
Sky Channel host Gary Kliese declared “if he runs as good as he looks he’ll win” and while co-host Priscilla Schmidt having seen IBINI in the parade changed her selection to IBINI.
Gary Kleise post race added “well it’s obvious they weren’t here for a cup of tea.”
Race Caller Anthony Collins said after the race “IBINI is the winner – well you just wanted to back it as soon as you saw it and he got the money.”
IBINI did look fantastic in the parade ring.
