Tomorrow we see the running of the BMW Caulfield Cup! This meeting is one of the top days on the Melbourne racing calendar and its one of the two main days Caulfield gets a chance to shine. This event is regarded as one of the world’s best handicap races over 2400m and the field tomorrow does not disappoint. Dynamic Syndications trainer Peter Moody will have a three pronged attack at Caulfield’s biggest Gr1 feature and they all look to be hitting form at the right time.
Peter Moody will be represented by three runners in the Caulfield Cup tomorrow
The first of his three runners is the highly touted Italian stayer Voila Ici who has been far from disgraced in all of his Australian runs to date. Most recently he finished 4th in the Gr1 Turnbull Stakes aided by Vlad Duric who retains the ride for tomorrow. Peter Moody has done wonders with him since arriving at his stables in August and a front running display is sure to be seen tomorrow.
The second of his runners is another foreigner in Sneak a Peak who like Voila Ici has produced three solid runs in Australia after heading over from Italy. He will appreciate the step up in distance and looks to be peaking at just the right time.
His final runner is highly fancied Kiwi mare Light of Heaven who is considered to be one of the best local chances. Peter declared the Brisbane Cup winner his best chance in the $2.5m Gr1 feature and her last start 3rd in the Hill Stakes left many believing she was a good chance to win tomorrow. We wish the best of luck to Peter and his three runners tomorrow.
There is plenty of racing action besides the Cup to be seen at Caulfield tomorrow and Peter will be again involved. Among these include A Time for Julia and King’s Rose who both look to be well placed in their respective races. Time For Julia will line up in the 1st race on the card and King’s Rose will contest the Moonga Stakes which is the 5th race on the programme.
Four other Dynamic Trainers will have horses line up at Caulfield tomorrow including Mick Price who has a total of 5 runners. Mick has been in great form to begin the new season and it would be no surprise to see them all run well.
Mick Price has started in great form this season
Gerald Ryan, fresh off his Melbourne double last week, will be looking to emulate that achievement when he lines up his two runners at Caulfield. Villa Splendido and Mrs Onassis will bookend the meet and in particular Villa Splendido looks to be a genuine chance in race 1.
Both David Payne and Chris Waller will line up one runner each on the ten race programme at Caulfield and both are currently 6-1 with the bookies. David has Honorius in the Norman Robinson which looks particularly well placed whilst Chris Waller will line up last start Gr2 Premiere Stakes winner, Red Tracer in the Tristarc Stakes.
Randwick also has a solid card with a number of our trainers set to have runners on the eight race programme. Chris Waller will look to continue his sensational run and extend his lead in various premiership categories.
Chris has accepted with seven runners at Randwick on the weekend where he will try and add to his 47.5 metropolitan winners he has had this season. He will look for more Stakes success when both Permit and The Verminator line up in the LR City Tattersalls Club Cup and Tromso looks to win the LR Lightning Handicap.
Gerald Ryan also has a team of five set to line up at Randwick with the Dynamic Syndications purchased Gr3 Kindergarten Stakes winner Dances on Stars set to resume. Last preparation Dances on Stars became a Gr3 winner and 3 times stakes placed colt proving he is well above average. He will look to add to that record tomorrow and we wish the best of luck to the Gerald Ryan in doing so.
Gerald Ryan will be looking for more winners after his double in Melbourne last week
David Payne, Gary Portelli, Darren Smith and Jason Coyle will all have horses line up tomorrow with Jason’s 4yo mare starting favourite with the bookies in the final event. Emotional Circus has been racing very consistently over the last month and looks to have found an appropriate race. We hope that she can show her customary turn of foot and produce a positive result for the Coyle camp.
Matt Dunn will also line up five horses tomorrow at Eagle Farm as he looks to continue his good start to the season. Among this group will be Dynamic Syndications galloper Platamone Castle who will have his first start under the care of Matt Dunn. He has been working well and is enjoying his change of scenery up North. We hope to see a good performance from the 6yo gelding and we expect him to improve as the preparation goes on and distances increase. He kicks off over 1200m but is far better suited at distances beyond 1600m.
Darren Smith has some strong chances at his home track of Newcastle tomorrow with another Dynamic runner Excellent Point set to resume. Excellent Point had a lead up trial win coming into the 900m event and whilst 900m may be a bit sharp for him, we hope to see a forward showing from our 6yo gelding.
Dynamic Syndications wish the best of luck to all of our trainers tomorrow around the country. Make sure you watch out for the Dynamic silks over the weekend and into next week as we have a number of runners set to line up at different venues.
