Dynamic are Laughing with another trial winner

It's not too often you see a horse win a trial as easy as this! 3yo Distorted Humor filly, Laughing has once again proved that she has all the makings of a sensational racehorse! This morning she lined up in 3yo&Up maiden at Rosehill over 1030m where we saw another comprehensive trial victory. Competing up in a field of three, our filly was in cruise control as she jumped to the lead and showed everyone at the track that she may be well above average.

This was Laughing’s second trial for the preparation after she showed mountains of ability winning her first trial by over 5 lengths! Although the margin was not as big today (Long Nk x ¾ L), what impressed us is the effortless way she won. Despite being a three horse field, she was in another class to her two well-bred competitors. She absolutely cruised around and never worked up a sweat with jockey Jason Collett virtually unmoved taking her to the line.

The first and only other heat over 1030m for the day was an OPEN class 3yo&up race in which they went just 0.6 seconds quicker. Considering the slow initial pace in our trial, Laughing not being fully tested and the quality of competition running in the first trial we are extremely happy. Whilst not wanting to get ahead of ourselves when it comes to barrier trials, she further confirmed what we always assumed – She can run!

While we keep on LAUGHING, this family keeps improving!

We have been waiting patiently for our Distorted Humor / Forest City Girl filly LAUGHING to make the racetrack and our patience has been rewarded. Not only with the physical development and maturity of our horse into what appears to be a running machine, we have also enjoyed watching the similar development of her pedigree page which continues to fatten-up her page nicely.

SIRE: Since we purchased LAUGHING the sire has produced another 18 Stakes Winners taking his total to 108 Individual Stakes Winners to date.

DAM: Forest City Girl had already produced a Stakes Winner in OUTSKIRT LADY. However since then that horse added further Black Type to the page after being named CHAMPION Imported 3YO Filly in Panama in 2010.

Also our filly’s dam Forest City Girl has a half sister to have now raced named BETTER LUCKY who has become a Gr2 Winner, also 2nd in a Gr2 and 3rd in a LR.

Whilst her Second Dam, the Gr2 and LR winner SAHARA GOLD is a ½ sister to Stakes Placed ENSENADA who has now added further Black Type to the family by producing Dual Gr2 Winner and Gr1 placed CASINO HOST

Gerald Ryan trains this filly out of US mare, Forest City Girl and he is excited to get her to the track to see what she can really do. It has been a long road to get this improving 3yo to the track but the patience and wonderful horsemanship by Gerald and all involved are starting to pay dividends. Although Laughing is yet to have a race start Dynamic and Gerald Ryan are both confident about her chances of winning races. Over the coming days, Dean and Gerald will sit down and devise a plan for this filly who looks to be a ready-made racehorse. Once this is decided, we will take it one step at a time as there is still plenty of improvement left in this filly.

With the years of experience that Dean Watt and the team at Dynamic have had in racing, we knew that there was no point rushing this filly to the track. After the setbacks that she has had, we made sure that everything was top shelf before getting her racing. Today was her final test and she passed with flying colours. After these two trials, Laughing is primed for racing and we hope to see her on the track within the next few weeks.

At Dynamic we are extremely happy for the group of owners involved in Laughing as she has been incredibly unlucky with injury and illness to date. To see her prosper on the racetrack is a just reward for the patient and understanding group of owners. We wish them all the best of luck when she begins racing.
