Today Dynamic will continue on the 2013 sale routine as we arrive at the Newmarket sales complex for the first book of the Inglis Sydney Classic Yearling sale. Dynamic have once again completed their in depth analysis into every one of the 467 horses that are catalogued for the two day sale which commences on Sunday the 20th of January.
Dean and Adam Watt are currently inspecting the hundreds of lots at the Inglis Sales ground located at the Newmarket Complex at Randwick. After coming home from the Magic Millions sale with three fantastic filly’s (more information on these individuals will be posted on the website in the near future), Dynamic will be looking to add to our 2013 catalogue by picking up well bred, well conformed yearlings at a price that doesn’t break the bank as we did on the Gold Coast.
Dynamic have had plenty of success at the Inglis sales both in recent times and in the past purchasing a number of quality yearlings that have produced the goods on and off the track. Dynamic Gr1 Blue Diamond Winner REWARD FOR EFFORT was purchased from the 2008 Inglis Premier Sale in Melbourne by Dynamic and is now doing the job as a Stallion in Victoria. Reward for Effort won $937,200 for Dynamic and our clients during his race career and currently stands at Chatswood Stud for $11,000.
In recent times, SPECIFIC CHOICE (Lonhro – Lady of Choice colt) is a great example of the kind of quality that you can find at the Inglis sales at a very reasonable price. Specific Choice was purchased for just $65,000 at the 2011 Easter Yearling Sale by Dynamic Syndications and their clients and so far has won $204,750 from just 4 starts at the race track. The most promising part is that he is yet to reach his full potential and he is only going to get better. $100,000 of the total prizemoney that he won came as a reward for winning one of the lucrative Inglis Bonus Races.
Specific Choice winning the Inglis Bonus race
The Inglis Bonus series is a reasonably new initiative bought in by the team at Inglis that benefits you as the purchaser. A $50,000 or $100,000 Bonus will be paid by Inglis to the winner should it be nominated in the Inglis Race Series which all Dynamic horses that are bought at the Inglis Sales are. The bonus is paid on top of first place prizemoney and applicable BOBS or Super VOBIS bonuses. Bonuses are paid to connections (owner/trainer/jockey) as part of the prizemoney payment and are counted in the horse's career prizemoney earnings.
For example, an eligible horse wins a $100,000 Inglis Bonus at Rosehill on a Saturday meeting as was the case with Specific Choice; the winning connections will receive $48,750 (first place prizemoney) plus the $100,000 Inglis Bonus, plus a BOBS owners bonus of $20,000 (if eligible) = TOTAL $168,750.
Dynamic are currently in the process of narrowing down their list of horses after our first round of inspections today. We will continue our research and inspections on all our potential candidates that we may purchase right until the sales begin on Sunday. At this time, our vets, various industry experts, bloodstock consultants and many members of the Dynamic team will have done their part for the team before possibly bringing home another quality yearling who will wear the Dynamic colours.
