It’s all systems go at Dynamic as a plethora of our horses are set to resume racing over the next two weeks. A number of our familiar runners have been busily preparing for their race return and working hard at both our pre-training facilities and the different trainer’s stables.
Wednesday we saw the resumption of 4yo Snitzel gelding, Chew The Fat at Eagle Farm who ran 4th off the back of an extremely long break due to injury. Chew The Fat has been incredibly unlucky in his time with Matt Dunn at Murwillumbah and we are hopeful that this preparation he can remain injury free and quickly progress through the grades.
Matt Dunn currently trains two Dynamic Syndications horses with the other also set to resume racing later this week. Platamone Castle will resume on Saturday at Eagle Farm after successfully negotiating a trip North and a change of environment from Melbourne. Previously with Mick Price, the gelding was moved to Murwillumbah as it was in his best interest for the longevity of his career. The dual city winner has settled in superbly to the beach life style and we expect to see him winning races for his new stable as the distances increase in the not too distant future.
Platamone Castle will resume on Saturday
Darren Smith is also in for a busy couple of weeks with a number of Dynamic runners in his stable set to resume racing. King Bing will line up in a 1200m class 1 race on Friday at Tamworth and stable mate Alleviate will also run on the same day at Taree over 1000m. Darren has a total of seven Dynamic horses scheduled to start their preparations or begin trialling over the next couple of weeks. Along with Alleviate and King Bing on Friday, Darren will have Excellent Point at Newcastle on Saturday who has been working well and subsequently won a trial leading into this event. Savage Blaze and Heaps More will also return to the track soon after being hampered by injury and illness last preparation.
The Darren Smith camp have also been busy working two unraced 3yos in Idle Chat and Curfew who are gearing up for their first campaigns on the track. They are both scheduled to trial next Tuesday at Gosford and we will be watching closely as they progress over the coming months.
Darren Smith has a busy time ahead with his Dynamic horse
It appears that next Wednesday’s Warwick Farm meeting could also be a busy day for Dynamic with up to three runners set to be nominated. The Jason Coyle trained Masterstroke and the Chris Waller trained Trick Shot look to have found appropriate races for their first up assignments. The final Dynamic runner likely to go around on Wednesday is Laughing who debuted last Saturday at Kembla. The 3yo Distorted Humor filly trained by Gerald Ryan put in a remarkable performance considering all that she has gone through to just get to the track. We wish the best of luck to all three horses in their respective races on Wednesday.
Jason Coyle has Masterstroke resuming on Wednesday
Chris Waller also plans to enter Specific Choice in an appropriate race sometime in the next two weeks. He won impressively on debut at Kembla and has since continued his good form producing an effortless trial victory. He will look to improve on his unbeaten record as he continues to step up in distance and mature as a horse. We also hope to see the unraced Dettori from the Chris Waller yard sometime over the next few weeks.
The David Payne trained Dream Choice is expected to trial at Rosehill on Friday which will get him one step closer to a return. Dream Choice showed us plenty of improvement last preparation and we expect that to continue. Dynamic Syndications have had plenty of success with David over the last 6 months after our impressive 3yo filly, Secret Delight became a dual city winner and was stakes placed in the LR Rosebud. She will resume pre-training work sometime over the next month as she aims for more stakes success over the Autumn.
With the weather warming up and the racing season in full swing, Dynamic are in for an exciting few weeks. We are looking forward to the busy times during the Spring and Summer months and we encourage you to keep a close eye on all Dynamic during the back end of the year.
