Record Prices and telephone numbers were the order for the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale.
Dynamic Syndications had already purchased extremely well this year with 19 high quality yearlings already in our stables.
We attended this Easter sale hopeful of adding a Fastnet Rock or a Redoute’s Choice yearling to our team but alas, that was not to be the outcome.
We refuse to chase horses in the sale ring and we simply couldn’t justify the prices being recorded.
With the big influx of international buyers from the Northern Hemisphere who were receiving a 24% discount courtesy of the current $AUD Exchange Rate they had a massive advantage over local buyers.
Even the Kiwi’s couldn’t believe their luck with the $AUD currently sitting at $1.02 this was their best opportunity to buy they have ever has with the exchange rate basically at parity.
What lesson was learned and we took from this sale was the fact that we have already achieved sensational buying.
We've worked very hard and put in the big effort for our owners.
That ensured we have purchased the BEST OF THE BEST at the BEST PRICES !
So far in 2015, Dynamic Syndication’s have purchased 19 Yearlings for $1,895,000 at an Average $99,736 and a Median $100,000.
Yet the Easter Sale recorded an Average of $290,881 and a Median of $200,000.
There is no possible way we could justify paying over our achieved average and median on these horses which were certainly of no better quality that we had already purchased.
