Demand was always going to be strong from our Dynamic Syndications Owners for two (2) European Stayers we purchased and now both horses are FULLY RESERVED – that’s 40 shares having been snapped-up in under 48 hours.
The Dynamic Syndications Team ventured to Tattersalls Newmarket UK for the Tattersalls annual Horses-In-Training Sale.
We had travelled to the sale with our veterinarian Dr Tim Roberts with a philosophy to be very disciplined and only identify horses that had the conformation, substance, scope and exposed ability to make it as a racehorse over ground in Australia.
As Dr Roberts stated,
“Take home the Best of the Best and you will be rewarded”– and we worked hard to find these gems and now, we are very excited for their futures.
Both horses will leave the UK on 30 November and arrive in Australia where they will be required to complete 2 weeks quarantine at Werribee before arriving at our agistment property.
With record prizemoney on offer and the proven strike rate of European horses in Australia, we are determined to ensure our Dynamic Owners enjoy success in this area and share in the spoils of victory.
“If you can’t beat ‘em – join ‘em.” Who knows what we may achieve together?
On Day 1 we purchased lot 151 FOOTMAN (GER) 2014 - a German bred 3yo bay gelding by CICAQUE (IRE) ex FLAMES TO DUST (GER).

We went to
30,000 guineas to buy the well-bred and well performed gelding
FOOTMAN (GER) who had been trained by RICHARD HUGHES from his Weathercock House Stables on behalf of his clients Highclere International Racing Ltd.
This is a magnificent looking and very athletic individual with plenty of scope and he covered good ground with a lovely easy flowing action. Importantly he was passed as
“sound and right” by our veterinarian Dr Tim Roberts and
“an ideal horse to buy for Australian Racing Conditions.”
A bold front running individual who will be ideally placed at distanced between 1600m to 2400m, he will be doing his future races for our Dynamic Syndications Owners under the care of Hall Of Fame Trainer GAI WATERHOUSE and he co-trainer Adrian Bott.
FOOTMAN (GER) has raced on 9 occasions for 5 Second placed finishes.
FOOTMAN (GER) has been an incredibly consistent performer despite not having his photo taken where it matters most – at the finish line.
However, this was his major appeal to us – he still has available his Maiden plus lower benchmark grades (the easy races) and promises to be a lot of fun and potentially a good money spinner.
FOOTMAN has started on seven (7) occasions this preparation, with his most recent start on the 12th October.
He has finished runner-up in three (3) of his past four (4) starts and there is no doubt he had his hoof on the till here at Newmarket.
We made him a prime target for Dynamic Syndications.

We anticipated that we would have an incredible response from our owners to be involved in UK Stayers so we created a share price that included purchase price, flight back to Australia, Transit Insurance, Australian Quarantine and Transport and all early training costs to the end of January 2018.
Early on Day 2 our primary target of the whole catalogue was scheduled to go through the ring.

Mushaireb - Win 21.9.17 from Dynamic Syndications on Vimeo.
Lot 440 was a sensational sort – a 2014 (3yo) gelding owned by Al Shaqab Racing named MUSHAIREB.
A 3yo in full racing, he has started 5 occasions: 2 wins, 1 third, 1 fourth.
An impeccably bred horse with conformation to support his pedigree page and excellent racetrack performances, we had identified MUSHAIREB to be our primary objective of the sale
Anyone who sees his incredible recent race win will be in awe of his ability.
It had been an emotionally tough sale on Day 1. Having purchased lot 151, we did have several other horses identified that we would have liked to purchase as well.
However as per our business plan, we were only intending to buy two (2) UK Stayers at our first visit to Newmarket, so it was challenging to say the least, having to sit and watch these additional quality horses going through the ring in our budgeted acceptable price zone.
We needed to be disciplined so we could concentrate on our ultimate end game.
Our relief was palpable when the gavel came down on our bid of
60,000 guineas (AUD $113,000 approx) to take home such a rare gem - the highly exciting
MUSHAIREB (GB) 2014 3yo Bay Gelding by Champion Sire I
NVINCIBLE SPIRIT (GB) ex HIDDEN BRIEF (GB) will be trained by BRAD WIDDUP at Platinum Park – Hawkesbury.
Mushaireb: Previous Owner was Al Shaqab Racing for: His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani.
Mushaireb had been purchased for 105,000 Guineas as a Yearling Purchase

Great families continue to produce stakes-class horses and
MUSHAIREB certainly appears; on his exposed formlines, racetrack ability and his fabulous family, that upon his current Timeform rating and BHA Rating, he should be a Sydney Saturday class contestant and in the depleted staying ranks in Australia, black type should not be beyond him.
