Look Who’s Talking became the first
Black-Type horse for her First-Crop sire
CAPE BLANCO when she was runner-up in the
Selima Stakes (LR) over 5 ½ furlongs (1100m) on a rain affected track at Laurel Park (Maryland).
The
Champion 3yo Stayer of Ireland and Champion 4yo Stayer in the USA is off to a flying start as a sire.
CAPE BLANCO
His first crop 2yo’s out are running over the short courses north of the equator which is very encouraging as whatever they are doing now, they should be so much better as older horses over further distances.
He had another 3 runners over the weekend, adding
another 2yo Winner in the USA – China Bella, his first
stakes performer in the USA – Look Who’s Talking and another prizemoney earner to his overall stud record which now reads:
41 starts: 7 Winners; 8 Placed; 19 Additional Runners Earning Prizemoney
That’s 34 prizemoney winners from 41 runners (82.9%).
Importantly
CAPE BLANCO progeny are proving versatile, having progeny win in the USA (3), GB (2) and Russia (2).
These 7 horses have won from 1100m up to 1700m.
Whilst of the 8 placegetters – 5 are placed in the US and 3 are placed in GB.
