“A magnificent colt as a yearling has turned into a glorious colt now he’s a 2yo.”
That’s the way
Dynamic Syndications boss Dean Watt described their 2yo colt by
HIGH CHAPARRAL ex QUEEN’S SUITE when laying eyes on him today.
Currently at the spelling farm, the
BART & JAMES CUMMINGS trained 2yo colt will return to the pre-trainers in a few day’s time ahead of a trip into
Leilani Lodge at Randwick.
Bred to be a
CLASSICS contender – this colt will be aimed at the rich races such as a 2yo as the
Sires Produce Stakes and then, as a 3yo will aim toward
Guineas and Derbies whilst as a 4yo and older horse, it’s the
Plate and Cups that will be focused towards.
As a memory snapshot,
BART has trained 16 Sires Produce Winners, 10 Guineas Winners, 32 Derby Winners, 5 Cox Plate Winners, 7 Caulfield Cup Winners, 12 Melbourne Cup Winners, 13 Australian Cup Winners, 11 MacKinnon Stakes Winners, 16 St. Ledger Winners, 5 Doncaster Winners, etc, etc, etc.
BART & JAMES need no assistance in getting the best out of horses bred to run a trip. The
CUPS KING (ably assisted by his grandson James as his foreman), did win 2 Cox Plates with
SO YOU THINK - a son of HIGH CHAPARRAL.
Since then, the stocks of their newly formed training partnership of
BART & JAMES continue to go from strength to strength, with
BART recording his
267th Gr1 Winner and JAMES his 1st Gr1 Winner recently when HALLOWED CROWN won the Golden Rose.
Already, in just 15 months training together, the Cummings partnership have achieved instant Black Type Success with:
EUROZONE : 10 August wins the Rosebud Hcp LR
EUROZONE : 28 September wins the Stan Fox Gr2
PRECEDENCE : 26 October wins the Moonee Valley Gold Cup Gr2

SHAMARLIA : 15 March wins the Fireball LR
HALLOWED CROWN : 12 April wins the Kindergarten S. Gr3
HALLOWED CROWN : 13 September wins the Golden Rose S. Gr1
A Career such as
BART CUMMINGS has had will never be forgotten but it’s one thing knowing the
“CUPS KING” is a Legend – it’s another when you refresh your memory (especially at this time of year) just what a legend he is.
BART’S training resume has 267 Gr1 Winners which includes:
