HIRAD WINS ! Trainer MICK PRICE
HIRAD (4yo g.
Not A Single Doubt ex
Raven Protector) has now faced the starter on 12 occasions for 3 wins, 1 second, 2 thirds and $75,730 prizemoney.
HIRAD was purchased at the
Inglis Premier Sale for $75,000. He looks like he can give the owners a fair bit more fun over the upcoming races.
Having promised the world as a 3yo, this preparation he had only delivered an atlas in his two previous runs back. However he won’t go a yard on soft tracks, he needs to be our good track / summertime runner. If its wet under foot he needs to stay at home.
Having been working well,
HIRAD had led with ease at both previous runs but wilted under pressure. Although not defeated far in both runs, this was in stark contrast to his 3yo preparation where he had won at Caulfield and been nutted a nose at Flemington.
Now third up, hard fit and up in trip, the race was right for the horse. Mick made some adjustments to the horse’s training regime and
HIRAD and Chad did the rest.
Back to Kyneton a layout that suited him well, up to 1450m, and with gun apprentice
Chad Schofield booked for the ride and a race on paper void of logical early speed, the plan was simple – Go to the front and improve on your position.
Chad rode the race well and kept
HIRAD nicely rated in front and had the field off the bit as he kicked away off the home turn.
Never in doubt at any stage in the running,
HIRAD put a gap on the opposition and Chad rode him out with vigour to the line maintaining his winning advantage.
HIRAD became Dynamic Syndications
352nd Race Win and our
8th this season.
CONGRATS to our winning owners:
Dynamic Syndications (Mgr: D Watt), Dynamic No 30 (Mgr: D Watt), P Green, R Diblasi, J Toms, S Bianco, T Smith, D Saxon & P Dougherty.
Thanks Mick and Thanks Chad.
