YARRAMAN PARK STUD in response to a flood of early demand for their exciting young stallion
I AM INVINCIBLE, have announced his fee early for the 2015 season will be raised to
$55,000 including GST.
"We believe the increase in fee is in line with his achievements to date which are impressive by any standard,” said Arthur Mitchell.
I AM INVINCIBLE commenced his stud career at a modest fee of
$11,000. His oldest are only this season 3yo’s yet his results are incredible, both on the racetrack and in the sale ring.
He is the
reigning Champion Australian First Season Sire, taking that title by
Earnings, Winners and Stakes-winners, his success is continuing this season.
Again leading his Second Season peers by Earnings ($1.5 million) and Winners (33).
Among those winners is high class colt
Brazen Beau, who won the
Gr1 VRC Coolmore Stud Stakes in the Spring and has since been secured for future stud duties by international breeding giant Darley.
"His statistics are outstanding with his winners to runners for this season running at 48.5% which is the best of any stallion in the country and he is second on the three year-old winners list behind only Champion sire Fastnet Rock,” Mitchell pointed out.
Fastnet Rock has produced 29 Australian three year-old winners this season from his 2011 foal crop of 137 foals conceived off a service fee of $137,500, while I Am Invincible’s 27 three year-old winners come from a foal crop of 96 foals conceived from an $11,000 service fee.
His current two year-olds are also out and running with six individual winners putting him equal third with Not a Single Doubt on the leading sire by two year-old winners list behind only Exceed and Excel and Snitzel.
Racetrack results like these have fuelled sale ring success,
I Am Invincible averaging $203,846 at the recent Magic Millions Yearling Sale (Book One), his average equating to a phenomenal 18.5 times service fee.
I Am Invincible had a service fee increase last year to $27,500 and covered his biggest and best book to date with 211 mares visiting the son of European Champion Sire, Invincible Spirit.
Among them were blue-blooded stakes-winners Sister Madly and Celebrity Girl, whose offspring starred at the Magic Millions Yearling Sale where a Sepoy colt from the former made $1.2 million and a Sepoy filly from the latter sold for $850,000.
"We feel privileged to be associated with a young stallion of such huge potential and thank all the breeders who have supported him along the way and who continue to support him,” Mitchell concluded.
