The demand for progeny by boom first season sire I Am Invincible was clearly evident at the annual Scone Select Yearling Sale conducted by Inglis for the Hunter Thoroughbred Breeders Association on Sunday.
The Son of Champion Sire Invincible Spirit has enjoyed a meteoric rise to the top of the First Season Sire Ranks, Siring 13 Individual 2yo Winners and 4 x Stakes-Winners thus far.
The sale's top ten lots featured five by I Am Invincible including the top priced lot, a colt purchased $82,500.
I Am Invincible has been in white hot form in recent weeks with the wins of Brazen Beau in the Group 2 Champagne Stakes in Brisbane and the victory of Voodoo Lad in the $100,000 Inglis Scone 2yo Challenge.
