Coolmore Stud has finished at the top of the Inglis Group 1 Vendors List for the 2011/12 Australia racing season managing to sell two individual Group 1 winners.
Coolmore Stud produced 2 Inglis Gr1 Graduates.
Inglis managed to sell 17 individual Gr1 winners this year that won 24 Gr1 races between them out of the 68 Gr1 races run during the 2011/12 season.
Managing Director of Inglis, Mark Webster has congratulated all the vendors and highlighted Coolmore Stud on its wonderful achievement.
“On behalf of Inglis I just want to pass on a big congratulations to all breeders and sellers of Group 1 winners in Australia this season,” Webster said.
Mark Webster was quick to congratulate Coolmore
“Coolmore Stud, led by Michael Kirwan, Peter O’Brien and Tom Magnier, are always bringing well-credentialed and superbly prepared yearlings to sale, a major reason why they appear on the Group 1 vendors list, not just this season with
Niwot and
Invest, but for a number of seasons with other Easter graduates such as Musir, Dariana and Absolutely.
The strength of the Inglis results this year is shown in the varying and diverse statistics that have come out of the sales.
“Showcasing the depth and range of stock presented by breeders and vendors at Inglis’ sales, the 17 Group 1 winners sold by Inglis were by 16 different sires, were from ages two to seven, won over 1000m to 3200m, were victorious across every state that conducts Group 1 racing and encompasses colts, fillies, mares, geldings and entires,” Webster went on to explain.
17 Group 1 winners went through the Inglis Sale yard this year
“The list includes a Blue Diamond winner, Guineas winner, Oaks winner, Derby winner, World Champion Sprinter, Milers, Cox Plate winner and a Sydney Cup winner.
Webster also highlighted the positive public response to the new Sales initiatives that have been launched by Inglis in the last month in attempt to keep the impressive numbers at their constantly high level.
“We have received plenty of positive feedback for all our new Select Yearling Sale initiatives launched in the last fortnight, and with the continued support of breeders and vendors we look forward to presenting a world class range of yearlings to buyers again in 2013,”
Dynamic Syndications also produced a Gr1 winner this year in Atomic Force, who won the Railway Stakes in New Zealand on the 1st of January.
Atomic Force was a Gr1 winner in NZ this season
Atomic Force is now a dual Gr1 winner after his victory in the 2011 Galaxy Stakes at Randwick during the Autumn Carnival.
Although Atomic Force is a graduate of the Magic Millions sales, to become a dual Group 1 winner is a feat that is extremely rare and shown in the fact that only Black Caviar, the world’s best mare, and Mosheen, who is among the best filly’s in the world are the only dual Gr1 winners on the Inglis list.
These diverse numbers that Inglis have produced show just how hard it is to get a Gr1 winner and be able to select the right horses.
Each year there are hundreds of different vendors all searching for Group 1 winners, a pursuit which most people don’t even come close to.
There is certain amounts of people who manage to find a good horse and get one Gr1 winner in their lifetime, be it because they have a good eye for a horse or just luck however what cannot be argued is that to get 10 INDIVIDUAL GROUP 1 WINNERS is an unbelievable achievement.
Dean Watt has built up a record throughout his career that includes an astonishing 10 individual Gr1 winners with 13 Group 1 victory’s during his time in racing and this record isn’t finished by any means.
Reward for Effort is just one of Dean's 10 Gr1 winners
You will get no argument from us that people can "fluke" one Gr1 victory and lightning may even strike twice, but to have 10 individual Gr1 winners is an achievement that cannot be matched by any individual syndicator.
We currently have horses for Syndication purchased at the Inglis Sale all of which have been personally selected by Dean Watt in consultation with his expert team.
The time and due diligence put into every horse purchased by Dean and Team Dynamic is shown by his outstanding record with more Gr1 success only a matter of when as opposed to if.
