“Girl’s just wanna have fun” is a catchy chorus line from a 1983 song but also sums up a Team of Dynamic Ladies who are excited to be getting their outfits ready for their big day at Royal Randwick this weekend as trainer Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott aim their promising filly READY TO PROPHET at the Group 2 Silver Shadow Stakes over 1200m.
READY TO PROPHET is a 3YO Bay Filly by SMART MISSILE x READY TO LIVE (USA) (by More Than Ready) who Dynamic Syndications purchased from Torryburn Stud at the Magic Millions Sales in 2017. We syndicated the filly into an “All Girls Ownership” Syndicate at $5,400 per 5% Share.
The cleverly named
READY TO PROPHET is a gorgeous looking individual who carriers the Torryburn Stud “Love Heart” brand on her near side shoulder.
She also has two distinct “prophet thumb” markings on her near side neck where according to religious beliefs, it is said that the prophet Mohammed pressed his thumb into the neck, marking her with his thumbprint.
A horse with the prophet’s thumb is said to come from the bloodline of horses that belonged to the prophet Mohammed and said that a horse with the prophet’s thumbprint should be treasured and treated with great respect, and are thought to be lucky.

well above average on the racetrack already with
a dominating win at Warwick Farm at her second start for her owners.

The rating figures coming out of that win were super and Gai Waterhouse had no hesitation nominating the filly in the
$200,000 Gr2 Silver Shadow Stakes over 1200m, a race which as expected, has attracted 13 high quality nominations.
It will be a good test for our filly and will give connections a guide as to where she sits against the best Spring 3yo sprinting fillies.
Gai and Adrian are adamant the filly deserves to take her place to compete at this level and her trackwork since her easy Warwick Farm win and leading into Saturday’s race, has been outstanding.
To ensure the filly is given every opportunity to succeed on Saturday, jockey Tommy Berry has been booked for the ride.
