MAGIC MILLIONS 2014 Yearling Catalogue has WOW Factor

In the syndication side of the racing industry, like trainers, it’s a 365 day a year business. Everyday is a working day even Christmas Day and Good Friday.

Having come to the end of our syndication placements of 2013, having sold 280 x 5% shares between our loyal Team Members and so many New Dynamic Clients, we were keen get back to work and begin looking at the Magic Millions 2014 Yearling Sale Catalogue which arrived on our desk on Friday afternoon.

So after a busy day at the track on Saturday, on Sunday we were able to commence our initial evaluation of the first sale to greet us next year.

The Magic Millions Yearling Sale commences on the 8th January and rolls through 5 sessions to the 12th January.

It’s incredible to think that’s only 6 weeks away !

The strong catalogue has 926 lots on offer to suit all tastes and budgets.

We spent Sunday slicing and dicing the catalogue into initial lots that were of potential interest to Dynamic Syndications. Such is the overall strength of this catalogue that our initial short list comprises a huge 296 of the 926 which is a massive 32% of the catalogue to be offered.

This is a new high for Team Dynamic as in our opinion; we have not encountered this strength and depth to a catalogue in many years.

Naturally we will need to spend countless more hours analysing these 296 lots to further fine tune such a high number, to determine a reduced short list to inspect however the Team at Dynamic are extremely encouraged by the depth of the Magic Millions sale.

There are some very appealing lots on offer by the Dynamic Syndications preferred proven sires: FASTNET ROCK, REDOUTE’S CHOICE, ENCOSTA DE LAGO, EXCEED AND EXCEL, LONHRO, COMMANDS, MORE THAN READY, HIGH CHAPARRAL, NOT A SINGLE DOUBT, SNITZEL, etc.

Then we have boom young sires NORTHERN METEOR and DENMAN

And the new brigade of future Champion Sires such as: REWARD FOR EFFORT, LOOKIN AT LUCKY, STARSPANGLEDBANNER, STAR WITNESS, STRYKER, ROTHESAY, HINCHINBROOK and co.

However with so many positives about the strength of the catalogue where congratulations id due to the Magic Millions Team for putting the catalogue together, the one negative we see from our personal (buyer’s) perspective is that the sale average certainly appears set to climb significantly.

Naturally that’s great for breeders and the strength of the industry as well as Magic Millions bottom line but for buyers, we need to be aware that we should see a rise of at least 8-10% on last year’s average based upon the depth of quality and improving economic fundamentals.

Overall we feel assured the Thoroughbred Breeding Industry is set for a positive start to the New Year on the Gold Coast.
