There is no better feeling than when you set down a plan, take a chance and it all pays off! Today at Hawkesbury, 3yo Magnus – Rather Grand gelding MAGNILOQUENT did just that to break his maiden status in a great win. What makes this even more impressive is MAGNILOQUENT became Dynamic’s FOURTH WINNER in just SIX DAYS! And they were all in CLASS RECORD TIME! An absolutely superb effort by everyone involved!

Magniloquent had been racing ultra-consistently this prep around the provincial circuit in Victoria however he was becoming harder and harder to place due to high nomination numbers and lack of appropriate races in his distance range at this time of year due to the carnival. Enter Peter Moody and team Dynamic! It proved to be an absolute Masterstroke (pardon the pun) to move the horse to Sydney and find the perfect race for him to win his maiden at his fifth start.
Magniloquent broke his maiden status at Hawkesbury today
Magniloquent settled into Peter’s satellite stable at Rosehill brilliantly and after studying the form closely, we knew that this was the perfect race for him to kick off his career in NSW. It turned out to be just that as he knocked a staggering 0.41 off the CLASS RECORD to win in a time of 1.30.03 over the 1500m trip. This is an incredible performance from a young and improving galloper who was racing the NSW way for the first time and still looking to get over more ground.
Big congratulations should also go to jockey Josh Parr who had the difficult task of aiding Magniloquent through his first look at a Sydney track. Magniloquent jumped well however was over racing early on and tried to get on the “wrong leg” which he had become familiar with racing in Victoria. To Josh’s credit he managed to get him settled and put him in the perfect spot one out and one back for a vast majority of the race. Rounding the home turn Magniloquent again wanted to switch legs which caused him to be flushed out by other

runners on his inside and he drifted wide. Josh again had to get the horse to knuckle down which he successfully negotiated as Magniloquent powered to the lead. Despite wanting to switch off and look about in the last 150m, Parr’s strong horsemanship and the class of Magniloquent got him over the line in first position to secure a very satisfying victory.
What is extremely encouraging to note is he still has plenty to learn and is obviously looking to get over more ground. Despite doing a lot wrong and still learning about his craft, he secured victory with the official margins recorded as a long head x 2 ¼ lengths. Josh Parr, brother in law to Dynamic jockey Tim Clark, hoped off the horse with a massive smile on his face much to the pleasure of Dynamic Managing Director Dean Watt. Dean was full of praise for the young jockey who joked “With Timmy (Clark) in Hong Kong, can I take over the winning photos on your website - I can take over where he was?” We are sure to see Josh riding plenty of winners for team Dynamic.
Josh Parr was all smiles hoping off Magniloquent
The son of Magnus is an exciting prospect and we expect him to continue to improve as he learns more about racing and develops into a quality thoroughbred. Over the coming days we will map out a plan for the Peter Moody trained galloper who will surely be winning more races in the near future.
We would like to congratulate all the owners in Magniloquent who have supported Dynamic and Peter Moody to get the results .

Magniloquent caps off an awesome six days for Dynamic in which we had four winners, all in class record time! To produce four winners in a week is an incredible effort in itself but for all of them to smash their respective class records shows that we have an exciting couple of months in store. After experiencing some racetrack mishaps over the past month and a half, things are well and truly looking up and this is a just result for all clients involved.
On Saturday we experienced our 300th race win under the Dynamic Syndications when Excellent Point won over 900m at Newcastle. We have achieved this feat in only 7 years of racing! Whilst in the last 5 years we have averaged a winner a week, every week! That’s 260 consecutive weeks we have averaged out producing a winner on track! We are extremely proud of our achievements and the future looks bright with our current crop of horses.

winner in 6 days
Specific Choice will look to continue our fine run on Saturday when we lines up at Rosehill in the Ingham’s Love’em Benchmark 72 Handicap over 1300m. The undefeated colt competes against a very competitive field where we expect him to be finishing off the race well.
Once again we wish to congratulate everyone involved in the success that we have achieved not only this week but over the last seven years. We are hopeful that the next 300 can come even quicker than we achieved our first 300 winners.
