Magniloquent as a yearling
Dynamic Syndication’s own Magniloquent ran a very unlucky fourth at Sale today in only his third race start and first after resuming from a spell.
It was only confirmed this morning that Magniloquent would run after originally being listed as fourth emergency in the 1419m maiden event for 3yos.
Trainer Peter Moody had nominated his 3yo gelding in a number of events over the coming days with the expectation of seeing him produce now that he is getting up in distance and starting to mature.
After securing a run, Peter explained that the horse was fit and well and he would settle back in the field.
The effort did not leave the owners disappointed with Magniloquent finishing only a length off the winner despite being blocked for a run and severely bumped several times in the straight.
Magniloquent's first two race starts came over 1100m before he was subsequently spelled and given time to mature in the paddock.
Although still learning his trade, from what he produced today we expect to see him winning races in the near future.
After jumping well from barrier one, jockey Jason Benbow settle back worse than mid field and allowed Magniloquent to settle.

Coming round the home bend his jockey looked to have plenty of horse and tried to peel off the fence however he struggled to find a run initially.
In a bunched field with many of the horses still learning their trade, Magniloquent was held up and couldn’t get clear running until approximately 100 metres out where he burst through a couple of horses to finish in 4th position beaten a length.
Magniloquent's hoof is firmly on the til
We have little doubt he would have finished closer if he had got clear running earlier and not lost momentum bumping off other horses in the straight. He should show further improvement from the run.
Magniloquent’s run was the first of four Dynamic runners in Victoria this week.
Atomic Force will compete in the A.J Moir Stakes at Mooney Valley on Friday Night, Hirad takes part in a $35,000 maiden at Mornington on Saturday and a decision on whether Midnight at Ascot will run at Mornington or in the LR Testa Rossa at Caulfield on Sunday will be made later this week.
Keep an eye on the Dynamic website for more information on all of these gallopers and other runners that we have coming up in south of the boarder.
