Champion Sire More Than Ready looks poised for another big Spring Carnival, after the highly promising Coolmore Stud owned colt WAR (More Than Ready x Deedra) demolished a field of slick 3yo sprinters in the Group 3 Up and Coming Stakes on Saturday at Warwick Farm on Saturday.

War has been touted as a horse of serious promise from the time he stepped foot on the training track and after finishing second on debut in the Breeders Plate, the wraps on him have certainly been most complimentary. His maiden victory in Group 3 company on Saturday proving that the handsome colt is a serious Spring contender.
More Than Ready has enjoyed a fantastic career at stud, which has seen him in recent times sire two Golden Slipper winners in Australia, whilst his outstanding daughter More Joyous took all before her on the racetrack winning 21 times, highlighted by 8 Group 1 victories as the Queen of Sydney racing.
More Than Ready has also been in hot form throughout the globe in recent times with brilliant colt Verrazano winning the Group 1 Haskell Invitational in America in recent weeks by a whopping 10 lengths. Whilst Sheik Mohammed appears to have an exciting son of More Than Ready on his hands with 2yo colt Strategical winning by 11 lengths eased down in Europe on Monday evening.
War became the 118th Stakes-winner globally for More Than Ready whom is once again starting to hit his straps leading into the Spring Carnival.
Dynamic Syndications will launch our More Than Ready x Langness filly this week, to be trained by Premier Trainer Peter Moody. Our filly will be targeted at the big Autumn Carnival 2yo races including the Blue Diamond and Golden Slipper.
