Re: Stallion Prospects

Each year we receive countless inquiries from current (and past) owners within the Dynamic Syndications Team, wanting to own a share in high quality yearling colts with a genuine opportunity to be a potential stallion prospect.

It seems to be a common dream amongst the majority of our owners.
 
These colts are as rare as the proverbial “Hen’s Teeth.”

However I want to draw your attention to 2 colts we believe, have a genuine opportunity of being a commercial stallion upon racetrack retirement, should they be successful on the racetrack.

     
One is with GERALD RYAN and the other is with GAI WATERHOUSE.



BOTH are being raced in partnership with GERRY HARVEY.

Gerry hasn’t made it to where he is today by making poor decisions and his reputation goes before him being canny with his investments.

So when Gerry backs his judgement and takes a large equity slice in a colt – you can rest assured, he considers there is significant potential.

At the Magic Millions Sales this year, Dynamic purchased 2 wonderful colts from GERRY HARVEY’s - BARAMUL STUD.

When Gerry heard at the fall of the hammer we were the buyer, he came over and firstly congratulated us for buying them and then offered to buy back in for a large slice, such is his affinity with these horses and such was his knowledge of the start to life both colts had on his farm.



Our STREET CRY ex AH HA is a cracking colt by the Champion Sire who has unfortunately passed away. They are not making any more. With a resume of 89 SW including World Champion ZENYATTA along with such Aussie horses as WHOBEGOTYOU, SHOCKING, WINX, PRIDE OF DUBAI, SOLICIT, SABATINI, LONG JOHN, PREDATORY PRICER, SABATINI, CHIVALRY, SEA LORD, ABDUCTION, STAR FASHION, TALLOW, QUAYSIDE, PITTSBURGH FLYER, RIVER’S LANE, HURDY GURDY MAN, etc, etc.

He is out of AH HA by Encosta De Lago. The Dam was unraced but she is the daughter of Australian Champion 2yo & Champion 3yo Filly HA HA (by Danehill).

HA HA won 8 races 1100m to 1600m and $2,989,465 including 2 Gr1 races

1st STC Golden Slipper S., Gr1, AJC Flight S., Gr1, Apollo S., Gr2, Silver Shadow S., Gr2 STC Tea Rose S., Gr2, Sweet Embrace S., Gr3, GCTC Magic Millions Trophy RL.

3rd AJC Sires Produce S., Gr1, NSW Tatts Furious S., Gr3

HA HA is a full sister to SW DRY HUMOUR - 7 wins to 1400m and $258,260 and to the Grand-dams of SW GO INDY GO, ESSAY RAIDER and SOUTHERN SPEED. Whilst HA HA is a daughter of Stakes Winner VERY DROLL – a ¾ sister to RORY’S JESTER.

It’s obvious that, if this colt can earn black type, then on his magnificent pedigree and physique he could be an attractive sire prospect for the big commercial studs.

He was sold out however a buyer didn’t settle so we cancelled that sale and re-offer this 1 x 5% Share.

He is amazing value and has broken-in very well. He's been through the pre-trainers at Warwick Farm and reports were he was an "excellent student."


There is an ad in this week’s BEST BETS so we can’t see this share lasting long – that’s why I am writing to our owners tonight – I would much prefer this share finds its way to a loyal Dynamic Owner if possible.






Our second colt is by MORE THAN READY - Multiple Times CHAMPION Sire of 140 Stakes Winners.



Out of the $1 million mare MOONFLUTE – a daughter of Danehill. She was a Gr3 winner and GR1, Gr2 and Gr3 placed.

She has already produced 4 winners.

MOONFLUTE is a half-sister to the dam of Gr1 winner ABSOLUTE GLAM (4 wins and $920,900) – Dam of JAZZ SONG – Gr3 & LR winner and Gr2 placed. Also to SW NOBBY SNIP (5 wins to 1400m and $348,945).

We have only now gone to market with this colt. The horse was in our upcoming syndications section of our website and was paraded at our OPEN DAY with GAI on 15 March.

Incredibly, the interest has been so strong that we have already SOLD 90% before posting him onto our homepage in the shares for sale section.

Therefore we are only coming to the market with 10% equity available. We will offer this as either 1 x 10% or 2 x 5% shares - whatever the purchaser requests.

Gai Waterhouse has gone online, advising all potential owners how well this colt went, during his first visit to Tulloch Lodge.



Gai states “the colt reminds me very much of SEBRING” !





In Conclusion – if you want to “RACE THE BEST WITH THE BEST” you could not go past either colt.

Let’s face it – these colts are with the BEST TRAINERS and you’ll be racing them in partnership with one of the BEST BUSINESSMEN in Australia and one of the biggest owners in racing.



Gerry has taken a big slice in each because he also had the “inside knowledge” about how they grew up.

If you want to race at the High Quality end of the market - with the Big Players and give yourself a genuine chance at scoring a stallion prospect, then BOTH THESE COLTS should belong to you.

However with only 1 x 5% being re-offered in the STREET CRY Colt and just 2 shares on the market in the MORE THAN READY Colt - unfortunately these opportunities can’t last long.
