Dynamic Syndications have just brought across to Australia from the lush New Zealand pastures our
SAVABEEL / SWAROVSKI (by PINS) filly which we purchased at the 2015 NZ Bloodstock yearling sales held at Karaka.
A wonderful looking filly by the Number One sire in New Zealand –
SAVABEEL (by Zabeel) who in the coming weeks is set to be crowned
Champion Sire for the 2014/15 Racing Season.
SAVABEEL at stud
Standing at Waikato Stud, he will take out his first
“Grosvenor Award” for the stallion with the
highest New Zealand Stakes Earnings as he sits with a commanding lead over second placed Darci Brahma.
Savabeel is also poised to land his first
“Dewar Stallion Trophy” for the
leading sire of combined Australian and New Zealand Stakes Earnings.
Incredibly the young sire is also sitting in third position on the
“Centaine Award” standings for
Worldwide Earnings, only placed behind fellow Waikato Stud sire’s
Pins and
O'Reilly.
Pins is set to claim this crown for 2014-15 for the third time.
It’s no coincidence our filly by
SAVABEEL is from a daughter of
PINS.
Being aware of an exciting
“NEW CROSS” that we have been watching emerge for Savabeel progeny, we were keen to inspect her when we turned to her page in the catalogue.
To date the
Savabeel / Pins cross has produced 16 starters; 12 Individual Winners and 2 Placed runners.
The cross has importantly produced 3 Stakes Winners (25%) including: Gr1 Winner BRAMBLES and the stakes winners DOWAGER QUEEN and LOPOV.
This is an A+++ genetic rating score.
SAVABEEL was very good to
Dynamic Syndications Boss DEAN WATT who syndicated the
ZABEEL / SAVANNAH SUCCESS Colt and watched him become a Dual Gr1 Winner claiming the
COX PLATE and the SPRING CHAMPION STAKES as well as running
2nd in the VRC Derby Gr1 (2500m), MRC CF Orr S Gr1 (1400m), STC Gloaming S Gr2 (1800m) and
3rd in the AJC Champagne S Gr1 (2YO 1600m).
His success has seen his
service fee rise to
$100,000 for the upcoming 2015 Season.
Savabeel injects an intangible quality into his progeny - a will to win.
From
438 runners he has produced
289 Winners (66%), 76 placed, another
28 have
earned prizemoney (89.7% Runners:Earners).
These are huge figures for a stallion who produces middle distance racehorses.
Currently he has sired
41 Individual Stakes Winners (9.4%) including a staggering
9 at Gr1 level (22%) with a total
81 Stakes Races and another
20 Stakes Placegetters (13.9% Black Type Horses : Runners).
His Gr1 hero's are:

Savabeel now Stars in Broodmare sire role too !
Savabeel opened a new chapter in his already illustrious career at Wanganui on Saturday 2nd June 2015.
The Group 1 Winner and 9 time sire of Group 1 winners was credited with
his first black-type victory as a Broodmare Sire when
STELLA DI PACO posted a win in the Listed Castletown Stakes.
The two-year-old by young shuttle sire Paco Boy also provided the first winner for the new training partnership of Stephen Autridge and Jamie Richards.
Being a young sire at stud with only 6 crops on the track, naturally he has only had limited opportunities at this early stage as a
Broodmare Sire, to have daughter’s producing foals old enough to hit the racetrack.
However on these encouraging early results, in the future his daughters will become well sought after.
From only
8 foals to race from
Savabeel daughter’s, there has been
4 winners and 3 placegetters including Stakes Winner STELLA DI PACO, Adrenaline Rush (4 wins), Buffalo Boy (2 wins), Maximus Mak (2 wins) and placegetters Code Duello, Tres Rapide and Tyrannize.
Our filly is from the
PINS mare
SWAROVSKI.
Swarovski was unraced.
She is a ¾ sister to
Gr3 placed Glitnz.
Swarovski is also a ½ sister to
Stakes Winner GLITZY and she is also a ½ sister to the stakes placed
Samburu.
Swarovski is a daughter of the winning Star Way mare
OUR TWINKLE – a full sister to Gr1 placed
DARKSIDE and a half-sister to Gr3 and multiple Listed Winner
IRISH FLIRT –who is the dam of Stakes Winners
O’FLIRTY and MCFLIRT.
Our superb filly was deliberately left in New Zealand by
Team Dynamic to continue grazing on the magnificent pastures at
Rich Hill Stud Matamata before heading into the educators.
She finished with glowing reports and was flown to Australia to enjoy a milder winter climate which will help her continue to grow and develop at a faster rate than facing the colder / wetter climate of a NZ winter.
The decision has worked perfectly, as the filly has arrived very ell grown and in a relaxed state. As you can see in the photos below, she is carrying a heavy winter coat but looks in magnificent order.
Our team purchased the filly specifically with a middle distance career in mind. She will be aimed at the
Classics and Cups and specifically - to have a crack at being an OAKS contender as a 3yo and then Cup racing as an older mare.
She will be given the best possible opportunity to reach this goal in the care of
Hall Of Fame Trainer and Australia’s First Lady of Racing – Melbourne Cup winning trainer – GAI WATERHOUSE.
“From what I have seen I can’t wait to be training her” Gai said.
“
She’s big, strong but retaining her femininity, a typical NZ bred filly offering good bone for bulk off magnificent pastures.”
“You just can’t go wrong with Savabeel’s progeny. A superb 3yo himself here in Australia, winning the Cox Plate and Spring Champion and being runner-up in the Vic Derby.
“This filly is out of a PINS mare. Pins was another high quality Australian racehorse and son of Champion Australian Sire – Snippets.
“She offers her owners a magnificent opportunity to be a Classics contender as a 3yo, to aim at the rich middle distance races.” – Gai.
Our filly will be on sale shortly.
5% shares will be available for just $7,250 per share.
Stay tuned !
